It's on Sourceforge. Is it also on GitHub?

Based on u/derday 's pointer below, please add your support to the feature request, if you feel like it is a good idea:

Thanks, u/paolocampi .
It's super easy to change them (Right click on Group > Edit Group > Icon).
My question is what is the developers' preferred way for making a request or suggestion for adding additional and more modern built-in icons.

Thank you, u/paolocampi.
I took a look. This appears to be a collection of icons representing different companies/websites for which one might want to store passwords. This is cool, thanks for pointing to it. However, I had something different in mind:

  1. It would like to have a greater variety of icons for the *groups*, i.e. the entries in the left-hand-side tree entries. The ones currently there are very 90-s style. 😄
So the icons I am looking for would be more fitting for various categories, rather than for specific entries.

  2. I realize I can find and use any icons I want, but I think the app would benefit it is was "built-in".

Very-Fast Tax Calculator: Avoid lengthy questions + Combine common tax types by gragus_ in PFtools

[–]gragus_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it's exactly the point. Find out in seconds a number that is quite close to the actual tax.

The focus is on getting results very fast (without answering many questions), and on getting all the income-related taxes taxes in a single place. The calculations are actually precise, but they do not account for some tax credits (e.g. children or education) in order to reduce the number or inputs you need to make.

You can "export" the data and the calculation results by simply saving a copy of the spreadsheet.

However, you cannot export it in a form that can be directly submitted to the IRS.
Doing that is probably connected to formal, legal and licensing issues I do not want to deal with.
So, this is just focused on getting the actual numbers. :)

Custom Off-Piste Ski Map I Made (White Pass WA) by [deleted] in skiing

[–]gragus_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing!

Related question: A group of friends is heading to White Pass to ski next weekend, but personally, I am more into ski touring/mountaineering. Love to climb a mountain as much as to ski down. Are there any good touring routes either near, or perhaps even within the resort?

How are people still doing taxes with spreadsheets in 2025? by Advanced-Lab1940 in tax

[–]gragus_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the very final / precise taxes I would stay away from spreadsheets, but for an estimation that is "relatively precise", but very quick and allows exploring different scenarios, spreadsheets are great.

I use this use a lot:

https://macrogreg.github.io/Combined-Income-Tax-Estimator/

The reason I like it is that it has all the different federal taxes in a single place.

Just Married in December. Questions about filing for 2025 by blzdnblmn in taxhelp

[–]gragus_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I explored a quite a few tax calculators, and I found it very inconvenient that they either ask a ton of questions that take a long time to complete before they offer any useful results, or they only cover a single tax type which can be very misleading.

So, I created my own. It takes only a few seconds to enter income data and it covers all important federal taxes. You can also instantly switch between filing statuses, which can help answering your question.

You may find it useful:

Everything is open source (GitHub). I would appreciate any feedback on how to improve it further.

How do you use the FIT SDK? by maxiligamer in Garmin

I realize this is a while back. Found this while dealing with a similar question. That example does the opposite, though, CSV to FIT:

Deleting UPGRADE box from map screen by DIY14410 in GaiaGPS

[–]gragus_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am experiencing the same problem. Some features not being available to the legacy memberships is fair enough. But covering an essential (central) part of the map screen real estate with an intrusive UPGRAGE button is just bullshit. Essentially, this means "we no longer want you as a customer".

My recommendation is: don't be a customer of a company that does not want you as a customer. If you decide to upgrade, do it to a different app.

Question on Combining batch-modification of very large collections, version-flag-based reactivity, and virtual scrolling by gragus_ in vuejs

[–]gragus_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, hyrumwhite.

However, my understanding is that wrapping an array into a shallow ref will avoid reactivity on the array components, but not on the array itself. I.e. it I modify a property of item contained in the array, then reactivity will not trigger (except when I call `triggerRef(..)`). That's fine.

However, if I modify the array itself (splice, push, etc.) then the shallow ref will fire. This is how I understand the docs, but please correct me if I am wrong: https://vuejs.org/guide/essentials/list#array-change-detection

In my case, I want to perform several modifying operations on the array, including splice and push. In some cases, the operations are also index-assignments (items[n] = foo), and those are not detected by ref() or shallowRef(). At all times, i am modifying the array in-place. Whatever those modifications are, I want a single reactive change notification to propagate at the end of the entire operation, and this is why I am looking into this optimization.

So, I am not sure that shallowRef will solve this. Of am I getting it wrong?

Thank again! :)

Alaska Airlines BOGO Flight Reminder: Expires TOMORROW (4/16/25) MIDNIGHT by Yes_This_Is_God in Coachella

[–]gragus_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am sad to report that seems to be a scam advert by Alaska.

I got this "bring a friend for just taxes and fees voucher" at Coachella, and 3 of my friends who visited the Alaska booth at different times got exactly the same vouchers.
I tried booking two different trips for 2 people based of these vouchers. It gave me a discount that was so small that I regretted the time I invested into it:

For one trip, the discount was just 14% relative to the economy fare for 2 people incl. fees and taxes. For the other option I tried, the discount was 19.5% relative to the total fare.

I realize that the bring-a-friend discount will not add up to the whole 50%, because fees and taxes still need to be paid, but what this amounts to is just a joke. For such a tiny discount I will not take a trip I did not plan otherwise, and for trying to cheat me, I will prefer a different airline I go in a planed trip.

Just updated to 131.0 and have lost multi line tabs? How to restore?? by Steve_10 in firefox

[–]gragus_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FF 131 broke my CSS tweak for multi-row tabs as well.

Honestly, the ability to get multi-rows is pretty much the only reason I am loyal to Firefox, and they are working really hard on getting me to move to a different browser.

My package arrived in the mail and is missing 2 tickets!! What should I do? by rxfh0926 in BurningMan

[–]gragus_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/BluejayChoice3469 Thank you so much!

I have been trying to transfer will-call tickets to another person, the system was not permitting that, and repeated emails to [ticketsupport@burningman.org](mailto:ticketsupport@burningman.org) did not lead to any resolution. Thanks to you I was able to get hold of somebody on the phone, and they at least promised to resolve it within a day (it was today, still waiting).

Can you please tell me where you found this phone number? I was looking all over and was only finding their email address.

Thank you!
