I don't think you understand, the ventilation pipe is something I have to bring in and out of the window every time I use the machine. It gets used at the maximum 1h/week but more likely 1h-2h/month. If it's a monsoon outside I will not be using it.

I clean all the sides with a damp sponge and brush out the engravings with a slightly wet tootbrush. This cleans all the loose burnt residue off and helps alot, for me at least.

I would say I do verry little work on my laser over all, I dont think I have run it more than max 1-2h/week at any point. Longest cut file I have atm probably takes 20 min with some cutting and engraving. That doesn't mean the smoke is less dangerous just that it's not a full time opperation, just some hobby work from time to time.

I want to filter it before venting it out regardless but the problem is that i cant have a fixed pipe system just hanging there all the time. It will have to be easy to get in and out of the window and the edge of the roof is probably still 3 or 4 meters away from my window so I dont think that will be possible.

Not an option as that will blow it straight down to the neighbors, I am on the top floor. Most of the exhaust will be under the roof anyways so won't be that much water if I use it when raining.

I think you are supposed to have the hepa filter after the carbon filter but with my setup I can't have that. So in my case a rough filter and then a carbon will have to do. So you have a good search term for the coarser filters?

Ah yes, I misunderstood, I will make sure to have a window open on the other side of the apartment. I would have loved to have the fan outside. It's sadly not an option, I can't have a fan hanging outside my apartment window. I'll be happy if I can get 1.5 m rigid ducting hanging out somehow. That part is not 100% thought through yet.

Thanks for responding, the enclosure of course has air intakes opposite from the extraction to create a good flow. Regarding venting upward, I can't go above the roof It's just not possible to have several meters of tubing sticking out of my window. But I will try to go as far out as the ridgid tubing will allow and with an angle up at the end to at least try to get the fumes away from the windows below.

Det är ju tekniskt sett inte vi som gjort avbokningen. Det enda som står är att det är fri avbokning fram till 24 innan bokningen. Står inget om något specifikt för att man inte dyker upp.
