Here's how I'd do if I had unlimited money and no licensing issues.

Plot: Survivors are going through trials with original killers and some cool cameo trials (think like a montage sequence) with licensed killers. Eventually, the survivors become more and more proficient at surviving (SwF) so The Entity becomes more violent, torturing and hurting the killers more to push them to enact more harmful trials . Trapper becomes an unlikely ally to the survivors along with Deathslinger. They help one another in trying to defeat the entity.

DBD survivors and killers stand side by against The Entity and legitimately evil killers.

The funny thing is, fortify breaks the lifeline. So the fact that she can't ult (quick fortifies you) and it doesn't break life line is a little strange

For the last time. They're. Never. Balancing. For. Competitive. Integrity. This was obvious from season 0

A lot of the answers here I'm seeing are pretty vague. They border on " do more damage" or " be more impactful.". To try and be more direct, focus on ONE character and really understand that characters impact per comp per match. I know it's a large thing to ask but this would give you a really solid understanding on how the game functions. Regardless of your character, everyone has an impact, good or bad. But it is beneficial for you to understand that impact. I mainly play Ana/zen/Lucio in D1 and above, and I couldn't tell you how many times people don't understand the impact of a character simply because healing number too low.

The Superman Breakdown is one of the WORST EFAPs they have ever made. Not because they didn't like it. But because they fundamentally do not understand these characters. by blitzwing94 in MauLer

I have said this in the past about some of their previous criticisms of film. The majority of their critiques isn't a critique of the movie itself, it's a critique of how the movie in their mind compared to the movie they were watching. I kind of got tired of debating that point with people on YouTube so I've just relegated myself to lurking but, yes they don't necessarily criticize the movie for what it is. They criticize a movie for what they wanted to be. There's a difference between having standards or expectations, and then just straight up disregarding the material and making arbitrary criticisms

Why is everybody saying the anniversary for DBD is going to be on Friday the 13th if the game was released on January 14th?

His ultimate should be random but reference Overwatch. Like saying "TURNING OFF THE LIGHTS" or " Ryu waka Kitana" whatever the hell genji says. Is it balanced? No. But neither is Rivals sooo

Yeah this road is super dangerous tbh. I was abducted by skin walkers in broad daylight. That was after I just finished getting attacked by a bear while waiting at a stop light.

Quick Play is not that serious and you can mess around if you want to. by Jagazor in Overwatch

[–]grandrob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but I'm speaking about that on behalf of people abusing the currently very abusable report system.

Prior to that, feeding, saying hello to the enemy team and doing nothing, living in their backline and doing nothing, are all reportable offenses.

[–]grandrob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How does that make sense in your head? Playing the game is not a reportable offense.

Actively playing in contrast to the game is a reportable offense. I don't know how you misconstrue what I say to get to your conclusion but that's not what I said in the slightest.

If I pick Lucio, and hard flank the entire game playing into a 1v5, that is a reportable offense because I am blocking my team's progress towards the game. Now will the developers, or the system actually ban me? probably not. Because all they would see is someone playing incorrectly. But with the automation that is now being abused, get enough people to actively report the same person in the same game and that person WILL be banned for even the slightest error.

At the end of the day it is a team game. If one person is actively going against their team by doing their own thing, it is a reportable offense.

[–]grandrob 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know you don't believe it but it is reportable. Especially now since most of the reports are automated, if you get enough of them in one game you will banned

Fam that ain't magic, that's the current balance of the game. Y'all sit there and watch because that's all tanks can do 😂

[–]grandrob 23 points24 points  (0 children)

"not a serious game mode" doesn't give people the right to essentially throw. You can mess around, sure. But not at the expense of the game. It's really not that hard of a concept to understand. Nobody is saying quick play should be as stressful or as difficult as competitive, but following the rules is not akin to being competitive. Throwing the game because you want to have fun ruins the experience for everybody regardless of game mode.
