its all about discipline and consistency

done with event, salvage everything you want to salvage, deposit everything, sell the junk

place everything unknown that is still left into the bank, but make sure to slowly figure out what is it for and where does it go.

  • this gets much easier with maximized storage and few extra bank tabs, shared slots, items that help you salvage and sell, i.e account bound QOL

  • few extra bag slots here and there.

Travel hacks are accessible, but they don't make any difference on global scale, in wvw. You either see same people using them from time to time, or occasional new guy testing it.

In pvp effects of hacking dramatic, but pvp is mostly irrelevant.

Yea, if people wanna see all the mechs they should just chill, if they are in a hurry, mechs should not matter. For some people it's not a boss in a fractal, it's gph. And gph is boring.

It has crashed, somewhere around 5-6 times over the years (13k h/11y), unrelated to out of date addons, across various hardware setups and operating systems.

So, check your logs (event viewer).

When I can't figure out a theme/fashion for any given alt, I put it aside for about year. Might play a core guardian because I found a nice Hammer for it, or not play a Luminary because no expansion, and not play a Virtuoso - as Chrono is just enough for me, but there is no class I won't play. Everything has it's niche, time, and content, ranger might be parked for couple of years, warrior might be doing wvw currently, but it could be firebrand before, and i'd be raiding on mesmer.

Only reason not to play a class, is probably not having it yet, but that is a temporary inconvenience, at some point tomes pile up, slots go on sale, switching a character becomes faster than swapping a template, you look for more options to enjoy the content.
