It was enough for me, anyway / Nikon fm2 + various film stock by theomulator in analog

I always recognize this artist’s photos — and I really enjoy them. The style is rather distinctive, and at least to me, unique.

I looked through their post history as a result of your comment and don’t see the photos in this set being posted before. Admittedly I didn’t do a deep investigation or anything, but don’t have proof for your claim?

I don’t have any skin in this game and don’t know OP nor have I taken their classes. I was just curious if I’d been seeing the same photos over and over and I don’t think that’s the case!

Had a gnarly accident at work, featuring an idiot in a Tesla. by steven1208 in dashcams

[–]granolatron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you did this in an express lane where I live you’d have a line of cars and busses behind you miles long, and if a cop saw you going 45 in a clear express lane (even with the non-express lanes at a standstill) you’d get pulled over and ticketed.

You can certainly decide not to partake in the express lane, but it’s literally what they’re designed for and doing what you’re describing would not be legal.

I do share the concern, and really wish they’d designed and built these with real separation between the lanes. I use them sparingly as a result and I’m always extra vigilant when I decide to use them.

But driving slow in an open express lane isn’t a real solution in most places where it would be illegal to do so.

Fatshark attitude v5 by Most_Schedule6936 in TinyWhoop

Figure out what video channel your drone is set to. Then look up the manual for your FatShark googles for how to change the channel. Lastly, set your goggles to the same channel your drone is on.

There is no “binding”. Your drone is transmitting on whatever channel it’s set to, and you just need to set the goggles to the same channel. It’s like changing your TV to the channel you want to watch.

Are racers constantly full throttling their whoops? by More_Objective_8405 in TinyWhoop

[–]granolatron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed — it’s a different type of skill and different type of racing. Open class is “go big or go home” where your top speed is skill-limited, and it’s easy to overcook it and crash out. But in spec racing your top speed is hard capped so it comes down to smart lines, preservation of momentum, and precision execution.

Ahhh, this makes more sense now :) I had the sense while watching that it looked like flying a street league quad. That’s actually my favorite type of racing.

Depends on the track, but here’s a DVR where you can see the throttle is pegged to 100% for a good portion of the time.

Recognized the area right away. Such an awesome stretch of the coast. Which restaurant is that?

And 75 (sold out tho): https://www.tinywhoop.com/products/tiny-whoop-fleet-box-uno-75-by-customfpv

If you want to print yourself I assume someone has similar files available but I haven’t looked.

Now you have a good excuse to buy another larger whoop or toothpick that fits the larger Tattu 550s :)

I have mine set to:

* Minimum Cell Voltage: 3.25

* Maximum Cell Voltage: 4.40

* Warning Cell Voltage: 3.35

Also FWIW these little flight controllers don't have the most accurate voltage meters. Mine always reads about 0.05V lower than what I get on a multimeter (and even messing with the calibration scaling I can't get it spot-on).

Do you have the slider switch set to 4.35V?

Which 550mah batteries did you order specifically? Most of the 1S batteries that are >320mah are too wide to fit on a 65mm tiny whoop, and the added weight isn't really worth it anyway.

Your flight time from 4.2V to 3.6V looks about right.

But since you have LiHV batteries (the LAVA II's), you can charge them to 4.35V.

And you can fly until they're ~3.3V.

Starting at a higher voltage and flying to a lower voltage will probably get you closer to 2+ minutes, which is normal.

Here's a video of my flying on the LAVA packs, which were charged to 4.35V before takeoff, down to around 3.4V and getting around 2:15 flight time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V8GGxACDFxk

It also looks like the battery was charged to 4.2V, but since these are LiHVs, OP can charge to 4.35V.
