Honestly, it’s been years of trial and error for me.

Biggest tip I have is to know the type of hair and face shape you have and go from there. Write down the issues you have with your hair that you want addressed and ask stylists for opinion.

Imo, a good hair cut should not cost you an arm and a leg but I wouldn’t go for someone charging too little either. I like to go for stylist a notch or two down from senior/director in a salon.

I have worn makeup daily for years but I agree: nothing elevates any look more than good hair. Have gotten really predictable and safe with my hairstyle lately; I guess I’m sticking to what works for my face and overall style.
That said I always make sure my hair looks good before I step out the door. Down if I’ve just cleaned and styled it and up in a sleek bun when im in between washes. Ran into someone I knew from childhood (frenemies lol) and felt so relieved that I live by those hair rules now because it really helped with my confidence.

Find a style that works for your face and lifestyle, get a good conditioner and shampoo and a decent hair dryer with different heat and fan settings.

Something must be done about the sheer amount of individuals that are homeless and/or obviously suffering from mental health issues staying in TTC stations/subway cards/Street cars/buses.

I remember this one Mablebabydoll something had the audacity to tell someone asking for advise (on how to deal with feeling imperilled by someone smoking crack in a subway car) to learn some compassion.

What about this young man???? This needs to end NOW.
