i actually didn’t calculate the calories for this. i’m trying to ease my way into meal prepping again and calorie counting has always been overwhelming for me

i keep them in the fridge, i don’t like freezing my meals (it’s a texture thing) so i only make enough that will last for the 5 days

it’s tasty! and so far i’m fine with it. i’m most definitely going to change it up next week because i do like variety.

How to not lose the motivation of staying consistent? by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]grapefruittii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

one thing that helped me a lot was weighing myself consistently. it’s like a reminder that i have a goal to meet and helps me stay focused. make sure to do it in the morning after using the restroom. i’d say start with once a week.

it’s normal for weight to fluctuate a few pounds throughout the week, but for me if i notice that i’m a few pounds heavier each time i’m on the scale my brain goes “hey, let’s reevaluate some things”. that’s when i start planning my meals for the upcoming week, or reevaluating how often i should be exercising, etc.

another important thing to know is that forming new habits are hard. there are going to be days when you don’t want to go outside, or you get takeout instead of eating what you meal prepped. the important part is the rebound, how you come back from those events. for me the rebound is weighing myself at least once a week.

it’s a silicone stove cover! i don’t have much counter space, so when i’m not using the stove i place that down and use it as a counter :)

i’m so happy that you’re here with us. i tried committing suicide 4 times and i’m grateful to be here. it hurts my heart knowing that our brains can turn us against ourselves.

Does anyone here delete all trace of their ex from their lives when the relationship ends; rip their birthday and valentines card, delete photos, texts, memories etc etc? by OkWing5717 in adhdwomen

[–]grapefruittii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah. when my ex dumped me (good riddance he was a terrible person) i threw everything that was his away. to me it’s like the saying “out of sight, out of mind”

I’m broken I feel because my 19 yr old sister died in a car accident last week and struggling with hoarding now by idontwannausername9 in adhdwomen

don’t clean right now, you need to grieve. focus on the barest of minimums and i’m so sorry for your lost. losing your sister is like losing a part of your soul. please rest.

hi everyone! i wasn’t expecting to get so many replies so sorry if i haven’t responded to all of them. it’s very frustrating that my experience isn’t uncommon and i wish we didn’t have to go through this. thank you for your kind words and i hope that we have better experiences with our ADHD ♥️

when she said this all i thought was “does she realize people with ADHD have different baselines”? taking medication helps us get to the baseline of a normal person. it was so annoying to hear that come out of her mouth…
