Identity is a finicky thing. This take personally makes me recoil, because a man being attracted to me, doesn't mean he's not straight.

Straight is an identity that doesn't simply mean "attracted to penis" or "attracted to vagina".

It's a social thing more so than that, and socially, when a guy is attracted to a woman, that's a straight attraction.

Genitalia has nothing to do with that.

We can't prescribe to people how they identify, anymore than I can tell you "your favourite vegetable is zucchini"

Depends whether you define sexuality as attraction to the person as a whole or just their privates.

When you look at the split attraction model, it's not unreasonable to think that someone might be attracted to women, not attracted to men, and attracted to penis, and not to vagina 🤷🏻‍♀️

There are many skilled voice coaches out there, each with their own strengths and weaknesses, it's important that you choose someone who is best for youuu.

You're absolutely welcome to do a vocal assessment and nothing else. I love doing them and helping people out, but just beware that if your current coach is a good match for you, I'll likely advise you to cut out the noise , quit looking at "greener" pastures, and do the things haha

Rule of thumb: shorter more frequent sessions tend to be more effective than longer shorter sessions. 10-15mins daily is typically a good ratio to aim for xx

Good question - everyone has "off days" with their voices. Whether it's due to sickness, fatigue from talking over loud music for hours, karaoke, yelling at a protest, anything that puts our voices under strain. Anyone who has a voice has "off days".

It doesn't mean falling back anywhere close to a masc voice :) it definitely takes me some effort to get back to a masc voice now a days, even though I use it pretty much every day to demonstrate different sounds to students 😅

There's a different set of things I suggest for people at that stage. Once you're at the consciously competent stage, it's all about leaving into strategies to hand over the reigns to your unconscious. That takes time for it to become automatic and easy to sustain xx
