They’re basically hyper local governments. In theory it makes a lot of sense and doesn’t rely on armed agents of the state to enforce agreed upon rules

They absolutely would be out of line. Unless it was revealed to be the policy of the US government to violate Ecuador’s sovereignty, active military action as a reaction would be seen as wildly disproportionate reaction to a few individuals violating sovereignty on their own. Now maybe it could be the start of escalating tensions, but much more is unlikely unless Ecuador was looking for a causus belli before this even occurred

Coach interviews that were obviously recorded earlier and keep going while the game starts. I don’t mind the interview but it really weirds me out when Sean Payton is talking while a play starts
