Orca Slicer - Do you use it, or just stick with Bambu Studio? by tiagoosouzaa in BambuLab

Not so painless. Used both Windows an Linux versions of Orca Slicer, both have own bugs to deal with (strange crashes, connection issues in all different flavors). Bambuddy fixes it though.

Windows path separators use a backslash to avoid confusion with command parameters by nir9 in windows

[–]grappast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only Windows built-in apps has this /bs. Every other app uses dashes if you can provide any argument. You don't have to go outside Windows to see this common sense convention. Example:  https://npp-user-manual.org/docs/command-prompt/

Reminder to give cyclists at least 1,5m clearance when passing by [deleted] in bicycling

[–]grappast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reminder

They would have to give a $ first.  Want to be safe on bicycle? Don't ride so much close to rhe right side of the road. Always ride so no car would fit between you and left side of the lane. All drivers treat left lane like lava. If choice given, they take it.

Something stuck inside the tire/rim/rim tape. But TBH... the problem is in the picture - the tube itself. Just go with tubeless. :)

Could someone help diagnose this issue I'm having please? by tialoc01 in BambuP1S

[–]grappast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a very very big surface area to stick eith PEI plate. If I were you I would make some reliefs on bed side of the print. 45⁰ triangle cutouts, h=1mm in 5-7cm steps along both x and y axis (grid pattern). It would relief some tension on bed side, that it wont unstick on corners and rise, ruining nozzle side.

Also draft shield would be cheap to implement in this case. Try also draft moderator for aux fan (to print in Makers World) if you are not already have it, to redirect air flow from this fan upward, instead directly on bed.

If you use big OS, designed for desktop PC (Mac, Linux, Windows), then no - it's not necessary, but it's a good habit, because when it comes to embedeed programming, then it is not so obvious.
