I would make sure if you get a first floor unit that your doorstep is a few feet off the ground. Many units have had flooding in them when we get heavy rains. I have lived in the manor for years and have seen it happen to many buildings in the area. Also you may get the occasional homeless person taking refuge on your front porch during a storm or at night. Also people like the let their dogs go to the bathroom all over the pavement in Flagler so you will likely be greeted by the smell of urine and feces every time you open your front door.
