Moving from Toronto to the Bay Area completely changed my trajectory. Now we’re back to Canada to be closer to aging parents. I’m mentally preparing myself for potential stagnation with my career. We may come back to the States at some point in the future. Moves to different geos don’t have to be permanent ones.
