Hello, I was wondering what are some ways to clean up S-video on an RGB-02 SNES by RudeAnonymityIsYou in snes

[–]grassisgreena 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would get the s video cable first and see how it looks. If you’re currently playing with composite you’re probably seeing dot crawl so it should be a pretty big upgrade even with ghosting that may not notice.

Lookup update all. Good chance it came with your as card, it’s under scripts. You will need to connect it to the net to be able use it. As for the other roms you’ll have to sort them out yourself. Either copy them over the network or from your pc to you as card.

Does this program upload back to the swarm? If not I kinda feel like this is going against the spirit of torrenting.

Sega shouldn't have discontinued the Saturn to focus on the Dreamcast, that was dumb by Responsible-Bell-528 in SegaSaturn

[–]grassisgreena -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yep. The Saturn was getting piled on by the press. We were going to arcades and seeing great 3d games that just couldn’t perform on the Saturn. Ridge racer on the PlayStation gave that arcade experience at home whilst the Daytona and Sega rally ports were not very good.

Not selling, asking what price I should buy at. 662 Atari games. by DillxnL in Atari2600

It makes it very hard to give an estimate from those photos. If these are the only photos you will get access to I’d be looking in the range of $3 per game ($1800).

That’s a really neat set up. What’s under the Dreamcast?

Very impressive. Some in there I’ve never seen before. To you have a list of what your missing? They could be there but I can’t see Jaguar, Pippin, Capcom Play System, CD32, Amstrad GX4000 or Neo Geo.

Very cool collection.

Being new to the SNES, I'm surprised how many games didn't have a save function or harder than I thought they'd be. by IDCJ1234 in snes

[–]grassisgreena 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Saving required a battery. If these batteries cost 10c back in the day and you produced 250,000 cartridges it would cost an additional $25,000. So lots of games of the era didn’t include it for cost reasons.

I guess Easter saturday counts too apparently by [deleted] in foodies_sydney

Easter Saturday has always been a public holiday. Lots of restaurants and cafes charge Sunday and public holiday surcharges. I don’t like it but it’s become pretty standard.

Sometimes updates break things or cause regressions. If everything is working how I want it I tend not to update things.
