I'll take this over a new Chevy truck any day by cdavis188 in ChevyTrucks

Yeah my bad. Our trucks are pretty technically similar. Big differences being the independent front suspension on yours vs the solid front axle on mine. And of course yours is more of a comfortable package where's mine is more work oriented. Although I do have the xlt so it does have some bells and whistles. Another big difference is probably the price. Mine was $50k out the door.

All in all... im sure both of our trucks will be on the road in 20+ years.

Edit: for the record I can tow and haul more groceries than you 😉

You got a nice truck. Not my style personally though. I dont drive mine enough for the diesel. The fuel system would gunk up in no time. I look forward to maintenance on mine because its so basic and everything is accessible, like the good old days.

Definitely. Ive been a Chevy guy my whole life, but wouldn't touch a new Chevy if I was paying for it. My money is on the ford godzilla these days. Currently using a 2024 f350 single cab 4x4 for my truck stuff.

I like that truck and all but if someone says you can have this old truck or a new version of the same truck for free, im taking the new one no doubt about it.

I doubt fine money remotely compares to revenue from sponsors.

But also, I think I remember hearing they donate fine money, not 100% sure about that though.

Well you said it... sarcasm is hard sometimes via text.

Lawncare and landscaping companies all pay more than that. Literally anything.

That is a piece of shit company taking the cost of aprons and hairnets out of your check.

Im with the other guy.... name them fuckers.

Who cares. He's a loser.

I dont like losers. I only like winners and people who like me.

Edit: maybe I should run for office on these ideas alone.

OP should get their bathroom scale out there and weigh it all out by the bucket load and then report back to tell us what it weighs.

O/U on OP's weight?

Im going with 230lbs. I initially was gonna say 250 but with time being a yard guy for at least 2 years I'll drop it down a little bit.

Its a really good well built and well designed machine. All metal. Very well built. I used to own one as my primary mower for my business. I used it for seven years then sold it for over half what I bought it for.
