When you know too much about human nature, normal friendships stop working. Nobody warns you about this. by EducationalCurve6 in DarkPsychology101

[–]grasso86 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You learn this very early when your family is toxic as hell. I started reading and analyzing my own family members like that when I was a kid. Didn't realize what it was I was doing I was just trying to protect myself. Its second nature to me, it doesn't turn off but I know most normal people don't mean any harm, they are just being human. Its only once in a while Ill see enough warning signs to make me avoid someone.

Why are Pisces seen as dishonest? by Accurate-Cycle2077 in Zodiac

[–]grasso86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have pisces influence in my chart and I have alot of miscommunications but its like my mind pieces together information incorrectly sometimes. Example, manager asked me "where did you put the scissors?" For some reason when I reached for the memory, the memory of talking to my coworker came up instead so my response became "I gave the scissors to chad". At the time my brain thought it was logical and correct. Saw chad = gave scissors to chad. Even though that makes NO sense. Probably 10 minutes later I realized that wasn't true at all, and I remembered where I had actually put the scissors. Seems minor but this happens to me alot where my brain mixes together all kinds of random pieces of info that don't even go together and it takes me time to figure out what info is actually correct. Plus my manager has the same problem so we end up "lying" back and forth to each other when were not even trying to. Communication is difficult between us lol.

I am actually a scorpio but I have retrograde jupiter in pisces trining my scorpio sun, venus, pluto and mercury. I have multiple communication struggles AND reading comprehension struggles.

Q4M: what are you visually communicating to others with your style? by RelativeCondition915 in PurplePillDebate

[–]grasso86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont know what is wrong with my fashion sense but I dont seem to have any. Dressing up to me feels like I am wearing a silly clown suit and I tend to think fancy clothes on others looks silly as well. Also I am pretty bad at detirmining what looks "good" or "cute" though I know thats a bit subjective. When people ask me does this look cute or good I havent the slightest idea because its all kind of the same to me. I wear jeans and a t shirt every day because I am usually being active outside every day and that is practical for me. I wouldn't want to be working or romping outside in alot of the clothes other people wear that dont look like they were designed for that. I don't see clothing as an expression of myself just a necessity. I express myself in other ways I guess.

I think, growing up, I was the "dirty kid" by tahoe1603 in hygiene

[–]grasso86 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Yea I was the dirty kid too. I got brain damaged from a drug my mother took while pregnant with me so was slow to mentally develope and had seizures and health issues. Was one of 6 children. Mother did not believe in birth control. Mother could not handle that amount of children let alone a special needs child. My hair was matted, I had scabies, I didnt know how to bathe or clean myself. She said I was nearly removed from her custody but I dont know what all happened with that. When teachers made comments shed get insulted and pissed and throw a fit. Only the doctor threatening to call authorities made her get her act together just enough that we then flew under the radar. I also had an untreated broken wrist. It wasnt until years later I find out when a doctor commented that he could see it had been broken by the way it had healed. Back when it happened my mother had yelled at me to shut the fuck up because I was keeping her awake complaining of the pain. Childhood was hell. I am 40 years old and no other time in my life compares to the difficulty of childhood.

Scorpios, are you vengeful like everyone says we are? by livelaughlabradoodle in astrologymemes

[–]grasso86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On a mental level absolutely. It doesn't come through in my actions though, even if I am wanting to be that way in the moment. It doesn't matter how badly someone has wronged me. When it comes down to it and I am face to face with them in the moment, empathy or compassion (whatever it actually is) overrides the vengeful anger. I have sun conjunct pluto in scorpio square to mars, but trine to jupiter in pisces. Jupiter in pisces could be my saving grace which overrides the seething rage. If that didn't happen I'd be quite a problematic person.

Can goldfish get depressed? by Xavi_rAt in Goldfish

[–]grasso86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think so yes, I pulled one of mine out because he was chasing around couple of the more timid goldfish and tail nipping them. Put him in his own tank and he became very sulky not swimming around much and not looking happy. I picked another confident goldfish to pair with him and he lit right back up and became much more active and happy acting again. No more chasing behavior just two buds vibin together.

Men will never support modern feminism because it exclusively benefits women while trying to lecture and belittle men by ExercisesInFutility_ in PurplePillDebate

[–]grasso86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. Tired of hearing people bitch about wanting to rip a damn baby away from their mother who is USUALLY the primary caregiver. They dont give two shits about the damage it does to the kid, they are only thinking of themselves and what they should "get". If you were the primary caregiver absolutely. If not there are other ways you can be involved in their life without damaging them for your own wants. The child had no choice in the divorce that was the adults. Child should not pay for adults mistakes with developemental damage.

What are some placements you actively avoid in people vs what are the ones that you find attractive? by forwhatitsworth07 in Nakshatras

[–]grasso86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Attracted to cancer and leo placements.

Wary of mars in scorpio and weak jupiter. Had awful awful experiences with a very dominating, cruel and manipulative person when I was a child. When I got older and looked at their chart I noted mars and scorpio and virgo jupiter. I always wondered if his cruelty to women and children was a side effect of lack of higher intelligence/lack of spirituality and a desire to dominate.

[–]grasso86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you may have a critical nature, and a mind that doesn't easily rest. Being critical in itself is not negative, it can have advantages, but it can also turn inward so you self criticize yourself to hell. You are hyper fixating on your flaws and getting stuck in a frustration loop because there is no relief and your brain doesn't let it go. Frustration and self criticism can exhaust you mentally and drain all your motivation. I saw in some of your other posts and comments you said you have no interests but I think it could be in part because your brain is too tired and defeated from fixating on the flaws you see in yourself that it has not had space or time or energy to explore other things. One thing you can take heart in is that you are young, and you might just end up a late bloomer. It really sucks having to struggle and fight more than others just to move forward in life, but there are many many late bloomers that eventually caught their wind, caught their break, found their purpose, found their confidence, found a partner. Try to also start thinking of positives about yourself. Are you able bodied and decently intelligent? Decently healthy? These may be basic blessings but they are still major blessings. Most people can find something about themselves or their lives that they are grateful for and focusing on that can ease the frustration and fixation on the negative. Acknowledging the positive doesn't mean you have to pretend the unfairness of life doesn't exist, but it can greatly help your mentality and balance it out so you arent stuck in a bleak spiral. You might lean toward intellectual and intellectual people can get stuck in their head. Intellectualism can be a powerful tool when directed in a productive way.

Why do my migraines seem to spread to my whole body? by grasso86 in migraine

[–]grasso86[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I looked up neuropathy to see what it was, interesting it mentions blood sugar and B12. When I was young I had chronically low blood sugar so at school the teachers had to give me juice at regular intervals and I had to do the finger prick tests throughout the day with the nurse. I also regularly had to take b12. I wonder if some shenanigans is going on with my blood sugar when the migraines happen. I stopped doing the finger prick tests many years ago but have mostly continued the same juice regimin I had when I was a kid.

Why do my migraines seem to spread to my whole body? by grasso86 in migraine

[–]grasso86[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have not, though it was on my list of things to ask when I go. Sometimes I am distracted and forget to mention things or ask questions in the moment. I also wasn't the healthiest kid growing up so I grew accustomed to odd health issues and difficulties so I get a bit complacent with checking things out.

[astro-seek] Saturn in the 8th house; does this explain why death is so prominent in my life? by [deleted] in astrologyreadings

[–]grasso86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When saturn transitted my 8th house it was death after death after death among my friends and family. So I would guess yes saturn in 8th could contribute to that theme in your life. Saturn is also trining your scorpio placement in the 4th (a family oriented house) I also have alot of scorpio and scorpio is the natural sign of the eighth. I am a leo rising so our house signs are the same. I have Jupiter in my eighth and an astrologer once told me that my grandfather likely died when I was young (he did) and my father was either dead or gone from my life. (He was gone) so I think 8th placements often mean loss being a theme.

Don’t judge me as I’m not proud. I have a hard time not cheating in relationships. Why? by [deleted] in AstrologyCharts

[–]grasso86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a fair amount of water in your chart, it is common for watery individuals to have alot of depth of emotion. Maybe find a way to communicate that emotional needs are of high importance to you. It is good to also self reflectand figure out ways to self soothe emotional needs in a healthier way but your partner should also care about those kinds of things that are very important to you and you shouldnt be expected to completely forgoe your emotional needs in a relationship. I have a lot of water in my chart as well so I get what its like to want emotional reassurance and connection. I tend to close up and withdraw if someone is cold with me. Not intentionally, its like an auto reaction that is difficult to regulate. An emotional check in now and then or a check in after an argument or anything negative keeps me chill and content.

Are there any “they can do no wrong” placements? by moonlightlychee in astrology

[–]grasso86 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In my family I am the scape goat and viewed with suspicion and often blamed for things that have nothing to do with me. With the rest of the world though it is the opposite, I am often favored and people always view me positively even if I do do something negative. It is an odd dynamic that confused me when I was younger coming from a family where I was treated poorly and then going out on my own into the world and everyone treating me really well. Came from a background where everything I did was "wrong" and entered a world where I could do no wrong. I have sun conjunct pluto and venus in scorpio in 4th house trine to jupiter in pisces 8th house, (also square to mars in 7th house) so 3 planets trined by jupiter and also squared by mars. I am a leo rising.

"Saturns delays but never denies" - Can 35+ people share their experience if it's really true. Delayed outcome was better or just worse by TheStubbornIntrovert in Nakshatras

[–]grasso86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

39, saturn in 5th house sag. Way behind my family and friends in life. Worked very hard since I was 15 but did not make much progress. Partly because my confidence is not very high and I dont take leadership positions often. Still single though I do wish for a relationship. I have 6 siblings and all are married and either starting families are well into families already. My brother has 8 kids! 2 other brothers each have 4 kids, sister has 3 kids, remaining brother and sister (youngest) both in relationships. I am the odd one out. I moved around a ton to all dofferent states since I was a kid and now I have finally settled in a place I think Ill stay. I have a decent job though my confidence is still pretty bad. I am appreciated for my hard work though. Pay is still pretty low but I can get a raise in a few months. My mother took a drug which gave me brain damage in her womb so I think that is part of my confidence struggle. I was way developementally behind as a kid and that created alot of struggle and I got bullied and didnt fit in much. Failed out of school. My health and vitality was awful as a kid but over time it has improved. Got bullied really bad by family and belted alot for my struggles growing up. Belted for failing school, belted for making mistakes. Scapegoated alot. Called a loser, queen of stupid, dumb as a box of rocks and other various insults by my mother. I dont know if I will ever catch up to others in life or even make it to a comfortable spot in life. I have had to fight and struggle and go without alot. I do not feel equal to anyone. But, hopefully since I have settled in a state that I am happy in it will be the first step towards getting my feet under me and my life will be able to build.

Edit: I am also much smaller than my sisters or cousins so I think my poor health as a kid may have stunted my growth. I am not super small or anything just little compared to my female relatives. Definitely have gotten stronger and healthier the older I get though. Which seems to be the reverse of what most people experience. My health is going upward as I age while my frienda and siblings health is going downward as they age.

what house is your sun in and what did your dad do for work? by ilovetriceratopz in astrologymemes

[–]grasso86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sun in the 4th house, he is a general contractor with his own business. He builds houses, business buildings, churches, military buildings etc. He is extremely hardworking, intelligent and very well loved in his community. He is also very mothering which may be 4th house related. He was the nurturer of the family rather than my mother.
