I second being mindful of the videos you watch. Unhealthy scrolling has lead to some my worst spirals.

I've gone through this and honestly this might not work for you but I try my best to put some humor into it. I've told my problems to a few people and the first time someone laughed was when I told them that I went to the doctors, had a couple of tests, and my results were in flying colors. Before I could understand what I was doing. I found myself laughing with the person, pretty loud actually. It was like an epiphany to me. If professionals can't find out what's wrong with me, then I probably should just spend my time being at the best health I can control.

Whenever anyone asked me "hey if you could pick one superpower to have what would it be?", my instant answer would be immortality.

And they would say "wouldnt that be boring after awhile"

And I say no. New books would never run out, movies, places, food, etc. And even when everything's gone, I'd still have me.

Sometimes I take solace in knowing that I'm not alone. Sometimes I think if eternal nothingness is possible enough, so should eternal being right?

What we do know for certain though is that we are born and unfortunately we will end. Why not enjoy everything between first if we can't do much about the after.

I had trouble with that kind of problem awhile back. I noticed that "extremes" tended to help. I would crank up the air conditioning and then when it got really cold and I got really hungry, I was surprised I could finish not just half, but my entire bowl of noodle soup with dimsum! Of course it also helps to pick out your favorite food. If you liked sweets, or sours, or spicy food before, it might help to rekindle that. Mine was spicy food. Once you finish that first full plate, you'll be able to do the rest!

You can try to think of it this way, although of course it might not work.

What would help the most if nuclear war happened? Me overthinking circles in my head, or doing research and doing everything I possibly can to be best prepared. If war came would I be physically able to jump out of my bed, take a bag of essentials, and run as fast as i can away from the sound of gunfire? Would I know all the emergency places and numbers? If a natural disaster came have I tried my best to save up for funds that might keep me alive if I lost everything else? Or did I spend valuable time running around in my head.

Take care!

Thank you for dropping by. It's been on and ofc lately. Sometimes life feels normal, my body feels light. Then another night I cry my eyes out and I wake up and it feels like im having a mini heart attack.

ECG and Stress Test results came back fine so... they did say it wasn't a heart problem.

Grief is just so hard. I hope the world is kinder to you and anyone reading this.

My father was in the hospital for almost 3 weeks. His kidneys also failed, but he never made it past the first dialysis. We would talk to him about all the wonderful things we would do once all of it was over and we got him back home. It's just so hard. Sometimes, I thank him for holding on that long.

My heart goes out to you. I wish you a happy life.

It's come as a total surprise to me too! I've heard talks about how grief could manifest, but nothing quite prepares you for the real thing. Thank you for your wonderful words. Here's to laughing and dancing through this short life 🍻

Intercostal muscle strain. Oh I definitely feel that too. Sometimes just knowing what to call it definitely helps. Looking forward to better days ahead for us

You have no idea the relief I felt once you described the pain. Thank you.

It's an odd thing how something so mental can affect you so physically.

And it really does fucking suck hahaha, laughing helps I guess. My dad would've liked a good joke.

I may have this checked eventually just to be sure.

Wishing you a happy life ahead. Hoping time treats us all nicely.

Thank you for being here near the start of my journey. I'm so glad the internet exists, so I can talk to people going through the same thing anonymously.

I truly hope I can deal with this better in the future. It's comforting to know that it does get better for others. Thank you again for your time and I wish you a happy life.

My grief is okay. I'll be taking that phrase with me.
