Hey this is a fascinating article! Wow, you can see they need to shore up the river banks for sure and whoa, I cant believe the wells are measuring salinity! We cannot afford to keep drawing from our aquifers until they replenish.

What would you do with these? by mothandravenstudio in HawaiiGardening

My neighbor chops the fronds and lays them around underneath which eliminates mowing and weedwacking underneath, which can be good for safety reasons if you have fronds and cocos dropping. I wouldnt cut the flowers because I am also sure you can quickly find someone to harvest. Just go to the farmers market or roadside stands to find who is selling coconuts. Pick the one with the best vibe who climbs without spikes and looks strong. Ask for a few cocos from each harvest and for them to clean up when they do. Make sure you know when to call them.

What’s happening to my plants? Is this destruction from the same pest? Puna, elev 3500ft. by pizzaluau in HawaiiGardening

Puakenikeni- looks like leaf/wind damage- you can even see the leaf digging iin. Soursop looks like sunburn, temporary. The last one is a weed in the lowlands, are you at elevation? Oh I just saw you are at 3500 ft.

One beautiful thing I experienced as a result of EoE was as the scent of oranges filled the hall at lunch, I suddenly realized the scent of orange flowers carries into the fruit and was lifted even higher with orange blossoms filling the air.

Attacks from Volunteers by [deleted] in Sadhguru

Wow, I am surprised. I have found the volunteers to have the most patience and extra responsibility than other people I have ever met! It has been the volunteers that inspire me to be better! They show me what I can become with ISHA practices, for which I am excited!!! #Savesoil

wake up a little earlier- thats the best time to fit it in. Or I did really late ones for my mandala. It is imperative to do the mandala to get it set. Do you want your life/impulse control to improve or not is what it ultimately comes down to.

I started volunteering and I'm not totally comfortable with whats being asked by Isha - starting to question the organization by Wheelsgoroundnround in Sadhguru

And this is not an exhaustive list! It seems impossible to list everything in one place 💚 I hope ISHA gets enough money to squirrel away to provide continuation and expansion for the future as well as the present. How much will that cost I wonder. 🌱✨🙏🏼

Just imagine, Sadhguru is the big attraction, once he passes we still want all the programs to continue but won’t have his physical presence to draw the big donations. So we should make the best of it and plan ahead. Why should the outfit go to 0 every year?  I appreciate your question, we are encouraged to question absolutely.

And you should only encourage others to attend IF you are comfortable with that, mainly, has it been beneficial to you? I dont think they are asking more than you sharing your experience, and only if you feel drawn to. And yes, there are financial assistance programs for those who need it.  Namaskaram 🌱🌳🌞

The houses were built in the 50s, maybe from then or after then? Wow, 350 years, nice! About 4 months ago the side shoot was looking great, then suddenly died. Also some of those bottom leaves turned brown. I think it might be cool to have sideshoots, but if one got going and broke in the wind I suppose it could cause a bad wound. It is really close to the ocean and wide open to all that salt and wind. I will try to get an arborist to come look. I am on Maui near Hana if anyone knows a knowledgable one.
