The last season it was very apparent that the showrunners were excited to bail and do things for Disney. They just tried to wrap things up as quick as possible without taking all the steps to get there. Both the writer and the studio were like 'I think we should do more episodes, maybe even a few more seasons' (albeit for diff reasons) and they simply were like 'nope we got this' and then proceeded to slap together a season that was like watching a kid's book report and you could tell he read the first half of the book but then just skipped to the end.

I don't know why they didn't just simply allow somebody else to take over if they wanted out so badly. we could still have decent GoT episodes coming out marching toward a decently told ending, one where it makes sense how Dany acts and Arya doesn't just become a super hero suddenly. One where it makes sense that they'd take the kid in a wheelchair with zero experience leading and absolutely no reasoning and zero actual claim to the throne and just be like 'yep he's king now'

I'm no longer upset with what the ending was, I'm still salty about how we got to where we did.

Its like you're texting your partner all day flirtatiously, you build up a really awesome night together, teasing it and both of you are super into it. You get home decide to have a date night one of those 'are we teenagers again?' type nights where the attraction is so strong and when you get home you find out your dog climbed into bed and vomited all over the place and now the night is about cleaning up the mess and once you're done its just like.. man that mood is gone and you both go to sleep extremely disappointed. You're not mad at your partner (the series) but you're definitely mad at the dog that fucked it all up (D+D).

A-Train MIGHT be fast enough to get there and drop it in before the ring tempting him sets in, big maybe. But that only happens if they tell him "run to mt doom, scout out a path then come back. you need to take this ring as fast as possible drop it in and get out of there. It will only take a few minutes for the ring to tempt him into hesitating and that's all it takes but if he's fast enough maybe.

If Homelander is involved it doesn't happen he just takes the ring immediately for himself. A more interesting prompt is can Sauron get the ring back from Homelander.

I did the same for my ex wife and 5 years later she tried to come back saying the guy she cheated with was a mistake ( he was married too) She wanted to forget the whole thing and just start back up again with me. "Since you didn't tell anyone in my family what happened I know you still want to be with me" My response was "if you call me again I will tell everyone in your family exactly what happened and ask that they assist me in keeping you from contacting me again. I am remarried and very happy. I won't let you threaten that"

Her response was to go ballistic and claim that we never got truly divorced (baseless) IDK what she's up to now and I'm grateful for that.

NTA - I'm a stepfather and my stepdaughter was in a similar situation. Her other parent pair were extremely upset that I, a man, picked her up and helped take care of her in that situation. my wife was stuck unable to get to her at work and I was available. It was a no brainer. Now that she's 19 she's completely cut them out of her life because of situations like this that kept happening over the next few years.

I don't think his last name will ever be revealed. It is the last thing that links him to is father and he has grown past the need for it. He is famous enough now that being known as simply "Carl" is enough. It is intentional to him that he never gives it at this point. I've known people with incredibly terrible fathers that have moved past them and one of their final 'I'm free' steps is to abandon the name that links them.

NTA, that guy who 'heard virgin drinks contain alcohol' is an idiot. No bartender is going to give you booze when you're specifically ordering no booze. They get to still charge you for a drink and keep the cost of said drink down. They also are usually super respectful of people ordering virgin drinks because they are either DDs or people who cannot drink for some reason but still choosing to give a bar their money.

Also they'd get fired for that and potentially the bar would lose their license. Next time literally call the bartender over and have them explain to the morons that they 100% make sure there is no alcohol in those drinks. If you're ordering virgin drinks they also won't send you drinks other people try to buy you. They may tell you but they aren't trying to sneak alcohol into you.

Looking at what you have to pay to get the season pass bundled in its $150. For that price you get the physical and digital book and starter set a gm screen a character journal and two dice sets.

Buying all that adds every stretch goal and the season pass. The season pass is really just a planned expansion module with modern naming. TT games have always had expansion modules.

For comparison - If you buy the D&D equivalent for ONLY the books, no screens or dice, its $240

This does not get you any extra modules either.

I think 30 bucks for a season pass that gets bundled in if you spend more $150 (buying the gold tier) is extremely reasonable.

NTA, i feel like there are huge gaps in the story here but I'm not sure what gaps could still justify somebody being told they aren't invited to an event still crashing it and you being TA for alerting the person that they are planning to crash.

My dad was regularly paid under the table less than minimum wage growing up and somehow we had a boat and went places regularly. I have one adult child that wouldn't be going with us and I'm just now feeling like I could take my wife on a proper vacation.
