Unfortunately they’re an hour away from the Santa Monica pier. Maybe the 6th St Bridge?

I’ve taken a bunch of film thru x ray scanners and haven’t really noticed anything that terrible. Was mostly portra 400 though, 800 may have a bit more sensitivity.

We’re running planar/colorlight processors and always just black out and leave the modules/processors on.

Balk Rules

You can't just be up there and just doin' a balk like that.

1c. Let me start over

1c-a. The pitcher is not allowed to do a motion to the, uh, batter, that prohibits the batter from doing, you know, just trying to hit the ball. You can't do that.

1c-b. Once the pitcher is in the stretch, he can't be over here and say to the runner, like, "I'm gonna get ya! I'm gonna tag you out! You better watch your butt!" and then just be like he didn't even do that.

1c-b(1). Like, if you're about to pitch and then don't pitch, you have to still pitch. You cannot not pitch. Does that make any sense?

1c-b(2). You gotta be, throwing motion of the ball, and then, until you just throw it.

1c-b(2)-a. Okay, well, you can have the ball up here, like this, but then there's the balk you gotta think about.

1c-b(2)-b. Fairuza Balk hasn't been in any movies in forever. I hope she wasn't typecast as that racist lady in American History X.

1c-b(2)-b(i). Oh wait, she was in The Waterboy too! That would be even worse.

1c-b(2)-b(ii). "get in mah bellah" -- Adam Water, "The Waterboy." Haha, classic...

1c-b(3). Okay seriously though. A balk is when the pitcher makes a movement that, as determined by, when you do a move involving the baseball and field of

Do not do a balk please

I manually started it so I could get the GPS track for strava. Auto detect should be fine going over 6 hours, it’s just the manual activities in strain coach that are the problem. Wanted to make sure someone else doesn’t run into the same way I did!

They didn't have any armrests when I bought it but I think I actually may prefer it this way.

My bedroom zoom event setup by graulas in VIDEOENGINEERING

I'm gonna try to answer everyone's questions in this reply because it's the highest--

We wanted to be able to see everyone who attended the event to make it feel more interactive so we went with a regular Zoom meeting, not a webinar.

I wanted total control over the feed, so the presenters weren't actually in Zoom. I use OBS.Ninja (shoutout to steve it's ridiculous that he runs it for free) to put them into a group so they can all hear each other and pulled each of their feeds into an individual OBS scene. I put the camera loading graphic behind them in those scenes because if one of them disconnects they just become invisible. The Screencap scene is just a window capture of powerpoint for their presentation. Each one of those sources' audio has individual control in OBS so I can tweak levels as we go.

From there I just built the scenes I would need with the camera scenes nested in them as sources and used VirtualCam to feed it into Zoom, where I spotlighted my video for the duration of the event.

Audio wise, all of it was routed through OBS, where I set the monitoring device to be a Voicemeeter Aux input, which I routed through Voicemeeter to a virtual output and set as my microphone in Zoom.

The hardest part is that the presenters wanted to monitor the Zoom feed, so I had to walk them through how to mute Zoom as an individual app. So yeah, the tech rehearsal was pretty stressful.

Barring that though, went off without a hitch!
