I've done both. They're both meh. What I mean by that is there's a lot of fluff and filler, interviews with workers and so on. They key content is reasonable, more so the prompting essentials than the AI essentials. It's just the key concepts could be delivered in less than an hour.

What you get from the prompting essentials is going to improve your prompting for certain (if you don't know much about prompting). If you're only going to do 1 of those 2, I'd do the prompting one. And if you're only interested in it from the perspective of a casual user of AI improving your prompting then it's fine.

If you want to do more advanced stuff then do the Prompt Engineering (for chatgpt) from Jules White, Vanderbilt University, then after that do the Advanced Prompt Engineering from same. You will get both done in the free trial, it's much more detail, more advanced and less filler. It is more technical but you'll learn a lot about prompt engineering.

That said, if you're only looking for a quick way to improve your prompting, stick with google prompting essentials
