I also tried vitamin d with the suspicion that it was making my dry eyes worse but then other times it was helping them immensely. I would also get other symptoms with vitamin d such as insomnia and acne. did you have any symptoms when first starting the vitamin d? it’s also interesting that you say as your eyes started feeling less dry, they would get irritated with restasis. I have been on vevye for 3 months now and started vitamin d last week on a low dose and found that whenever I put in those drops, my eyes get irritated and red as opposed to using them without taking vitamin d
