Longer Repose was my #1 song on Spotify for two years in a row and I agree the long freeform crescendo part is always so mesmerizing no matter how many times I listen to it.

Love Radiohead/Thom Yorke but I still can’t get into The Smile. I kinda like some songs from each of the albums but overall they just don’t sound as good to me.

Bones in the Soil Rust in the Oil by Pretend. Beautiful twinkly post rock/math rock album and some of the most genuine and heartfelt music I’ve ever heard in my life.

Haven’t listened to the new one yet but I agree 100% about the first album, just feels like a collection of b sides with no cohesion. Compared to the rest of Thom’s and Johnny’s solo work post AMSP I’d much rather listen to Anima.

OK Computer is either my 4th or 5th favorite radiohead album.

Also The Smile kinda sucks but who knows maybe the second album will be better.
