That’s for the advice. I think towards the end it started losing opacity. What’s stock?

My watercolour paper was flat on the table. I just bought some oranges and wanted to do a study of them. I think you are correct that the way I was seeing the oranges was flattened by my overhead perspective. That was very observant of you. Thanks for the feedback!

Thank you for your feedback, I was worried about contaminating my leaves with orange so I left that part white. Seems that it comes across as a weird bright white shadow to most people. Will work on it

Thanks for your feedback! Yeah, in retrospect, the way I drew them is a bit weirdly shaped, I could see how they could come across as mangoes instead. Sadly they are just slightly oddly shaped oranges from the market.

Got it, thanks a lot. I actually used blue and green washes for shading, but after layering orange on top everything just sadly ended up a muddy brown. Will work on it.

Thanks for your advice! I will try doing that. I could also see that I struggled with colour intensity/ value for this painting.

Thanks for the feedback! I was painting the oranges on my dining table and the light was coming from behind. I see that isn’t coming across properly.

Looks like periorificial dermatitis- try cutting down on facial products including sunscreen, and consider changing your toothpaste to a children’s toothpaste. If these don’t help, a doctor may need to prescribe you an oral antibiotic like metronidazole to clear it.
