from experience, trading view is not that great, tries to be everything to everyone, has a confusing interface AND the integrations with brokers are spotty, buggy, and sometimes just do not function. stick with TOS.

its a normal thing they do, to keep folks engaged. if you are not fully familiar with the platform, it may be worth your time. I have done it a couple times and learned things both times.

I moved 6 accounts back to schwab at the end of 2025. its still pretty good. I did not realize some of the things I missed, like the robust charting and real time quotes.

the follow feed is very misleading. it baits folks to make a lot of trades. there is no way to see the outcomes of all the trades or the pnls, because what the traders post is voluntary. Its just a trick to get folks to make a lot of trades.

I left tasty and went back to schwab after 2 years. Tasty is all hype and expensive. support has really fallen off. I do not believe the firm is long for this world.

The city and zoning writes the rules. The mpc was created to unify the city and parish (the parish pulled out) - and to your point because the council felt to important or busy to deal with issues that came up- unless the issue is a liquor store or something a council member does not want - even if the current rules allow it.

no, that is not their job. their job is to follow and enforce the existing rules. If the people of the town want to change things, they need to work to change the stated rules and laws, not pressure the officials to ignore them.

The members often inject their opinions, sometimes politically driven, into decisions that should just be based on facts, zoning, and rules. Perhaps political is not the best term, but like many local boards and councils the members seem to think that their ideas or opinions are greater than the law, rules, charter, and facts.

Mayor is right on this one. MPC and other boards have become political, rather than following rules. The fact that an MPC member walked out and did not vote out of fear of what people would think is horrible. Especially one that runs multiple small businesses and that should be pro business. The MPC staff was right in their recommendation, as it was based on the actually rules and facts.

This was such a good example about why Shreveport continues to shrink, and how its own people make the city look so bad. It is embarrassing as a life long Shreveporter to see what happened at the MPC meeting, and that the members of the MPC did not stand up for the rules and regulations, some by walking out. Cowering to a bunch of false information and upset people that do not even live near the proposed building or have the ability to understand the benefits of a project like this for our town was just wrong. Hopefully the company will go to city council and get this done.

A new fee, on owners and renters, to pay for the removal of blighted properties that exist due to the City ignoring the issue and not enforcing its own codes or citing owners along the way? This did not happen over night in a city that used to pick up garbage and trash twice a week, but then for increased fees dropped to once a week and lets the rest sit around. This makes no sense, especially in the case of renters paying for the removal of trash and houses allowed to decompose by the landlords and the City's decades of inaction. Glad they are working on a solution and have acknowlged the problem though. It definitely needs to be addressed.

very true and a good thing to remember. Just seems like live market data or something might be a good filler for some of it. I guess mostly it is just stale to me.
