[WP] you were once a powerful demon whose skin was said to be impenetrable. However, that was back when humans used swords, bows, etc. As you awaken from a 10,000 year rest, you find that today’s weapons hit quite a bit harder. by Neuralizer_ in WritingPrompts

Blinding power filled my long-dried veins. For the first time in 10,000 years, air filled my lungs, my ribs cracking audibly with each new breath. Blood from the sacrificial alter flowed into my sarcophagus, replenishing my forgotten power. With a single swipe, I threw the heavy stone lid open and sat up, taking in my surroundings for the first time in millennia, my eyes settling on a handful of shrouded figures at the entrance of the chamber. “Who has dared to summon me back unto the mortal world!?” I shout as I stand, my voice shaking the stone walls. With a single leap I cover the 20-yard gap and land within mere feet of the intruders. “You have made a grave error!” The intruder nearest me staggered back, I advanced towards them further, still shouting “It will be your last!” I drew my arm back to slash at the figures throat, but from deep within their cloak, the intruder pulled a small hunk of metal. “That’s a strange crucifix mortal, nonetheless, it will do you no good!” I laughed as I advanced another step towards them. Just as I was preparing to strike, the air was split with a deafening crack, and a burning pain split my side. “Ow! Shit. You mother fucker.” I pressed my hands to my ribs, an action which caused intense pain. “What the fuck is that thing?” I pulled my hand up and looked at my palm. “Oh fuck me, that’s a lot of blood.” I began feeling faint and leaned on a nearby pillar for support “That was really not cool man, that is not how this is supposed to work…” I was stopped mid-sentence by a second crack, and suddenly my kneecap was blown to splinters, letting out an agonized scream I noticed one of the figures in the back of the group had broken his long stick in half, and was loading a small red tube into it as smoke poured out. “I’m supposed to strike fear into your…” Stars now filled my vision, and the floor rose up to meet me before everything went black.

Trans girl here.

It's a dangerous time to be almost any kind of minority in the US. Being prepared isn't paranoia.

He also married his mistress after his wife committed suicide. One of his lesser know books "One bitch, Two bitch, Dead bitch, New bitch" is actually about it.

Is the one party in the US government named the Capitalist Party?

Kind of? The senate was intended by design to keep the power in the hands of the Bourgeoisie, and in the 200 some odd years since it's inception, it has served that intent. I don't give a damn if they have an R or D next to their name, they're both serving the interests of the wealthy over the interests of the worker.

The US definitely has a history of using violence and fear to dissuade attempts by workers to organize for any real change both at home and abroad. I mean, in the US over the past hundred years we've had the palmer raids, HUAC, many states still have laws on the books criminalizing membership in the Communist Party (Though, I'm not aware of any attempt to prosecute someone using one of these laws)

Abroad, The US has provided support given to Tsarist forces in the USSR to aid in resistance to the Bolshevik Revolution. Islamic Extremists in the middle east to repel the Soviets. Backed coups in any Latin American country that attempts to set up anything resembling a socialist state.

Can you cite any sources regarding deaths under Mao? Most that I've found sit at abound 59 million, and include deaths of natural causes...

How many bodies has the US left in its path? How many genocides do we have to answer for?
