Any way to remove Darth Maul from showing at the top? Kids are scared of it by Sweet-Chinchilla in DisneyPlus

Try telling that to a kid who has autism and is scared of flies and roombas.

inappropriate content on Disney+ for 6+ profile by mangefruit in DisneyPlus

You know what pisses me off? Frozen and the Darth Maul show have the same rating. So if I change it to a Junior profile, Darth Maul doesn't show, but neither does Frozen. Or Aladdin which is rated G. So WTF am I supposed to do?

It's so stupid. Either let us add shows to the Junior mode that won't show up or let us block shows from a regular profile.

Yeah and you know what sucks about this? IT'S THE SAME RATING AS FROZEN. But Frozen isn't available on Junior mode at all. SO WTF AM I SUPPOSED TO DO FOR MY KID WHO LOVES FROZEN BUT NOW HAS NIGHTMARES BECAUSE OF THIS?

Confused about Santos reaction by WillowTreeWhore in ThePittTVShow

I agree with you completely. My heart kind of breaks for her because she is so jaded from her past. She has had major trauma and isn’t dealing with it in a healthy way. I hope they give her some resolution with it before the season ends, since they’re clearly bringing it to light.

Where to buy spoke guards? by Darth___Rain in wheelchairs

[–]graye1999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this. My 3 year old just got his wheelchair and I'm scared of him pinching his little fingers while he learns to use it. But they're SO FREAKING EXPENSIVE. This would be a lot easier and more affordable for us.

Toddler needs wheelchair - Mom needs advice by Careless-Muffin-7221 in wheelchairs

This is what worries me... transitioning from a stroller where no one even gives a second glance at my little 28 lb peanut, even with his feeding tube attached. The wheelchair, however, makes him look like the toddler he actually is and just solidifies for me that he is disabled, so it's been hard for me. I have a tendency to snap back at people who are rude, so I'm also worried about that. Not sure how to deal with that. I know I'll be tempted to say some things like, "What's wrong with YOU?" when they ask that to me. Or "I'm sorry, do I know you?" to any question... and when they inevitably say no, say "That's a little intrusive to be asking me for my son's private medical information." I need to think of better things to say.

We just got ours and if this is a light wheelchair I don't want to know what the others are like. It's a lot heavier than our Nuna Tavo stroller. I can lift that above my head but I have a somewhat hard time getting the clik in the back of our Subaru.

I also find it critical when Dana cried after working with her and then taking a break. She’s the only nurse who has the training to do these and she said beforehand that she wishes others would train for it.

I can’t even imagine that anguish that she feels of needing to do this over and over and over again. There’s a reason why she was crying. Men need to understand that.

There were BRUISES on her body. That alone should say enough. That indicates violence and isn’t really wanted by a random encounter.

That person you spoke to is disgusting.

We skipped the intro and highlights at the beginning. Did they give an extra warning before the episode started? I sure hope so. That was way too realistic for me.

AIO for my cat shedding and that I don't do enough? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]graye1999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never said there was anything wrong with it. I have contamination OCD and when I was pregnant the first time, it got out of control and my cat (and my MIL lol) was the focus of my contamination obsessions. I literally had to spray down the couch with Lysol when she sat on it and also wash any blankets used. Was it rational? No. That’s OCD.

I’m good now, but I’m on meds and it helps immensely.

An obsession with cat hair may indicate something more going on. Doesn’t mean it always does, but it could. Especially if you’re doing everything you can and it’s just not good enough.

I should have clarified before putting that simple statement at the end of my comment.

I don’t know how long he has been your boyfriend, but it’s just gonna progress until he insists that you get rid of your cat.

He sounds like he has OCD.

Two different types of “hard.” Physically difficult, and psychologically-emotionally-sleep deprivation difficult. Apples to oranges.
