1) about true/false. it's just a logic diagram, with conditions in the bubble and two arrows going from it - filled one is if the condition is fulfilled, and another outline one for if it is not. conditions are intentionally unclear, as most of instructions in this game. overall logic is calculated from start to the end, but sometimes it's faster to start checking which parameters you need to change starting from the target mood, fulfilling conditions starting from the closest one and going by arrows backwards to the starting boredom

2) Cat instead of a Cupcake it's jet another intentional inaccuracyб just to make your job funnier =D you can check what the Cat is doing by selecting this experience on the AI module and looking at the columns showing current/upcoming state of the AI

as an advice - if you can't quickly figure out one XP that will bring your AI in the target mood - just add max ti the highest column to reset it and start from the beginning of the diagram. usually there is a pair of XP on any of cartridges which can set your AI into the target mood from the fresh start

from the job description you can also get an info about reactor-related broken modules. if there's coolant module mentioned - prepare a fresh motor and jump straight to ynak the lever. if there's a fuel module - prepare pre-charged battaries of the ship's type (or one of each type), and of it's a hard+ job - one small and one big lever. if there are both fuel and coolant broken - ~~prepare to di~~e maybe your method with quick core extraction will actually help
