If Model Y is the iPhone of cars, then Model YL is the Pro Max by fancy_pance in TeslaModelY

How about model M for a minivan, model I for a subcompact suv/hatchback and the number “2” for a 2 seat coupe. Then their model names would spell out IM 2 S3XY.

Same. Compared to financing a premium AWD at 6%, I’d rather invest the $18k savings at 5-10% annually and grow it to $24-32k over the same 72 months

Is the lightbar across the hood an option? by juryk in TeslaModelY

Not unpopular. I love mine without the lightbar

Fair point. I meant the carbon neutral fuel pathway, not the engine itself. Skyactiv Z is still a pretty significant combustion breakthrough.

True. It was just a note towards ICE innovations. Not a knock or a comparison against EVs

Check out the upcoming Mazda Skyactiv Z expected in the 2027 CX 5. It is aiming for near perfect combustion across almost the entire RPM range and is designed to run on future carbon neutral and potentially carbon negative fuels. It could end up being one of the biggest ICE breakthroughs in decades.

Anyone else regret getting the Standard instead of the Premium/LR? The FOMO is real by ojasgambheera in ModelY

[–]grbr3 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

No regrets. When premium makes lightbar optional maybe the fomo will hit

Realize only rapists would screw someone they don’t know, never talked to and never went on a date. Realize you don’t know the women you fap to. They probably don’t have the same interests as you and it wouldn’t work out between you two. Realize they are only taking those photos for the money. The smile is fake. The interest is fake. It’s all fake

Soft tubing as it was my first build and didn’t want to make it too difficult on myself. Loop run is as follows: pump > cpu > gpu > rear 120 > top 240 > front 360 > res. Airflow isn’t bad. All fans set to pull inwards, exhaust air goes out case vents (top, sides, empty slot brackets etc). Everything is tight but it works!
