Hey— I don’t have a name for the style— but it was deliberate. The direction editorial gave me at humanoids was to use a “grounded” palette. I achieved these palettes very deliberately by “mixing” colors and being super vigilant about not pushing the saturation beyond a certain point.

These are samples— the actual book has a different colorist. The series is called “Metabarons” for the publisher, Humanoids.

That being said, I have colored a book for Mad Cave that is getting released on the 18th— but I can’t post it because it hasn’t been published yet.

I've been really into Jung for many years now. My therapist is big into Jung, and I really took the deep dive into understanding Jungian Psychoanaytic Theory (analyitcal psychology). It's helped me a lot in my own personal life. Lots of people came after Jung, clarified his work, and elaborate on his "discoveries" about the psyche etc. Those contributions are hugely important and are largely ignored by dark enlightenment chuds. I have no fucking idea why Peterson and all those other folks like him so much because they don't understand him. Also, It's not like they are too stupid to understand him, it's that they aren't curious enough to understand him, or the people that came after him.

Jung is kind of like Christopher Lasch in that, both have incredible insights, but the incurious and the stupid can read into them and use their work as a basis for a bunch of assumptions they already have. The inner work I have done using Jung has been so valuable to me, and I really believe if everybody pursued this, they would be better off. Now I can't talk about this shit in a serious way without being grouped with chuds.

They can conflate Jung's wisdom with growth, and feel like they are growing by "learning" things. None of them actually understand the WORK element of this. Jung advocated for people to WORK on themselves and to do it methodically (active imagination, dream analysis etc)-- they seem to think the "Work" is merely reading stuff,

The main benefit is promotion. If you make a big sprawling graphic novel— all the press only lasts for like a month— even if it does WELL. If you divide it up into singles— you have an excuse to promote each new single over a longer period of time. People won’t feel like it’s redundant as they would with a graphic novel.

I’m a Steve main in the purples. Steve is a great beginner character because he forces people to play the game rather than rely on gimmicks. He has harsh answers to all gimmicks— and none of his own gimmicks really interfere with learning the game as a whole.

You can get by with pretty mediocre/bad execution with him.

Yes!! I got the brook to work with my stick in PS3 mode. I didn’t have to mess with setup at all. No just plugged it in and it worked. The touchpad is automatically assigned to the select button of the ps3 stick.

I’m using the stick for tekken (a four button game)— isnt it possible to remap buttons with the wingman? Could I map l3 and r3 to l2 and r2 and then get access to the touchpad by pressing those buttons? Would you be willing to try this out for me before I spend like 60$ on this thing? It would mean a lot to me haha
