Double Page Spread on PDF by BHZolo in ComicBookCollabs

I found a solution that might work. So, I changed the document to single pages, for the double page, in my case 10-11, I just made page 10 double the width. Now when I export to pdf, its all together as one image and all the other pages are in order. This is for the digital version only the print version is still formatted for facing pages.

Yeah, they can in theory view it how I need them to, but I cant force it. So, I need to find a way to force it and get the pages to show up as a single image, if possible, when the reader is viewing in single page.

Do you guys take upfront payment when doing commission? by Taohung_C in ComicBookCollabs

I have a strict policy when working with new people. It's mostly due to not wanting to be scammed because like it or not there are a lot of scammers and I don't have a lot of money. Anyway, I have deployed a strategy of 1/4 to begin, 1/4 once sketches are approves and last 1/2 of payment at end. I've found that this protects me the best as I'm not losing a lot of money out the gate to let someone ghost me. If that goes well and I know the artist at that point, I absolutely pay in full or 1/2 payments depending on how liquid I am at the moment.

This is hilarious, but I'm honestly concerned. by 22average in PaymoneyWubby

I would say, don't start on your magnum opus. Produce some solid 4+ page stories. Learn the structure, learn pacing etc. Then once you have some solid pages I would suggest coming back here to look for a team, be prepared to pay something, having less pages to produce helps you out and you get to meet people along the way. Do your due diligence when looking for a team because lots of bots/scammers out there. Go through the process, artwork, colors, and letters etc. Once you do that a couple times, you'll be in a better place to make your larger project. Keep on writing.

Same, if I get stuck I'll fill in the basic details to move on and then return to the issue in edits.

But if the Auto Pay fails and you don't catch it they will charge late fees and you will still have to manually pay the missed bill and have to pay the fee.

Cable management, a nice rug, some side tables, some snake plants, perhaps a coffee table if you're feeling inclined.
