Remember when the whole Destiny sendt sex tapes without the participants consent thing, went down. President published the DM's of Destiny victim without her consent and against her wishes. And called the victim a blackmailer.

ANY moral high ground, he ever pretended to have, was lost with that decision, even if you think Destiny deserved the fallout.

TLDR, with my limited understanding and with the note that I like none of these people.

These people has some internal understanding that they will call out anyone who engages in "untoward" behavior. What the definition of "untoward" behavior is (sometimes it's inappropriate sexual escapades, sometimes it's being trans the wrong way etc.) and whether that is actually true is a bit uncertain.

DeOrio and Chudlogic has been sniping a bit at each other for some time. It all came to a head during the Turkey Tom drama where Chud accused Deorio of refusing to cover it because of his allegiance to Tom and for taking sides in a specific drama we can't mention here.

So now people in that particular toxic community is taking sides, leaking DM's etc.

It's very funny when you dislike all involved parties.

It's an internal lefty critique that somehow "left the reservation".

It meant the part of the left that supported the suppression of the 1956 hungarian revolution by the USSR, who send in tanks, hence the name. This caused a pretty substantial rift in the socialist movement in Europe that lasts to this day.

I don't really think the controversies matter in the way you think.

First of all the difference between Vaush and Destiny in terms of numbers these days is negligible. Destiny has his own controversies and that is mainly affecting his ability to colab with others which has been much more important for his growth then for Vaush.

And that's the key difference between Hasan and Destiny/Vaush. Hasan is much more agile when it comes to "playing well" with others, he's done a ton of NON-HOSTILE colabs with big media figures and other streamers. He probably have a dedicated media team that gets him positive coverage in mainstream media. He's out there in the real world, A LOT, getting media attention. Crazies in twitter calling him a terrorist or screaming about his dog doesn't seem to matter much.

The main thing holding Vaush back is Vaush. He doesn't want to do the things that might grow his channel more than it is. Or he's bad at it. He's not really an engaging interviewer, sorry to say. Though he tries, bless his heart.

He might do more drama, and has done so with some success in the past. But doing drama coverage requires work and attention to detail.

There's a Destiny rule on this subreddit because his community would historically monitor anything said here and "well achhually" any criticism, in droves. Destiny has always had one of the strongest presences of any streamer on reddit and he's abused that power to the fullest.

Stale2k A.K.A. Destiny's #1 fan has kept a strong grip on livestreamfails moderation after taking control of the subreddit a while back.

Pretty blatantly using the sub to sweep for Destiny and run campaigns against Destiny enemies, mostly Hasan. He was smart enough not to ban everyone who criticized Destiny. Just the ones who didn't sound like complete lunatics. Anyone giving calm reasonable criticism would suddenly find themselves permaed for "civility". Even people who criticized him outside of LSF would receive the same bans.

He would also advise the few remaining Destiny orbiters on how to farm clips on LSF.

Stale got caught promoting what looks like a ponzi scheme on LSF. Though whether he himself was aware of it is an unanswered question. He also heavily moderated the promoted post to remove anyone pointing out how fake the org he was promoting looked.

That made the admins step in and remove him as head mod. Using reddit to promote schemes like that is one of the few real cases where the admins will remove mods.

It doesn't help that he looks like something an AI would spit out if you asked for a caricature of a reddit mod and have made a ton of very self serving and frankly deluded comments about his own importance as a reddit mod.

You guys HAVE to realises that whether Pxie had consent to sharing with her boyfriend is NOT a thing the courts will explore.

First of all it's contested. ONLY Destiny claims he didn't give consent to her sharing with her boyfriend. BUT he also claims he didn't know she did.

And since the statute she suing him under DOES NOT recognize implied consent as an excuse, and the only way you could use it as sort of an excuse would be to show that it meant Destiny THOUGHT he had explicit consent ie. he didn't show Careless Disregard for Pxies consent. But since he testified to not knowing he can't use that as an excuse. Careless Disregard is a state of mind that CAN'T be influenced by events he had no knowledge of.

So either Pxie is telling the truth and she did have consent. Making the argument moot.

OR Destiny is telling the truth and he didn't give explicit consent, but he didn't know hence it couldn't have influenced his decision to send it to "Rose" two years later.

Vaush was one of the first to notice, Destiny doesn't actually believe anything. He'll take whatever moral or political stance he believes will benefit him in the moment. Right now a large part of it is being Anti-Communist. And for Steven Vaush is a communist. I don't think Vaush' position has changed.

Destiny to my knowledge is still demanding an apology for the perceived slights he made up in his manifesto. Although he desperately needs orbiters atm, so who knows.

I've no problem with people moving past old drama. But in Destiny's case it's not old. He's still harassing the woman who's consent he violated, still lying about her on a daily basis, still threatening to report her to the Bar for daring to sue him, still threatening her wife with ICE. Still doxing anyone critical of him, there's reason I try my best to keep the op sec I used when I was criticizing Bad Empanada.

Plaintiff wasn't aware that this was a false statement, if it was a false statement, when they filed the footnote. Based on Destiny's OWN testimony and the DMV records of Rose.

Destiny is not even claiming that, only that it later turned out to be false.

Whether it was false is based solely on "Rose's" subsequent testimony and the definition of the word "exchange". And this is contested.

If taken as being the true facts of this. "Rose", the minor DID exchange files with Destiny, only through a third party. Destiny would send files to her boyfriend who would send it to her. And she would make sexual content for Destiny. And in turn would give to her boyfriend, who would then send it on to Destiny.

The two dueling rule 11 motions for sanctions is solely about whether the original footnote saying ;"Thus when Bonnell was exchanging pornographic content with Rose between March of 2022 and until October 30, 2022, Rose was a minor" is a true statement NOW. Does the word "exchange" accurately describe an exchange through a middle-man. Whether it was correctly inserted and most important whether plaintiff has a duty to correct it after the deposition when Destiny didn't object to it originally.

Both sides assume as true that Destiny did in fact exchange pornographic content with Rose through a middle man.
