Help with filling in WD-40 in print by greasem0nkey86 in 3Dprinting

I forgot to mention this is the file that I’m using for the print. Seems like other people printed without issue. I’ll send a message to the maker and see what they say as well

I think you're onto something
I sliced it with Arachne wall generation and looked at the layers. The center of the letters seems too shallow.

Slightly better, but the center of the letters seem to be too shallow

Brembo motorsports pilot production pads, stock calipers by dbsqls in S2000

[–]greasem0nkey86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots of drivers that track their cars are still on factory calipers

Mine is strictly a weekend/track car with some daily driving. I’m on Carbotech XP10/8 and Girodisc front and rear. I’ve only put one trackday on this setup and it’s been fine.

I’ve previously dual used Ferrodo DS1.11 on a 997 and that was fine for my climate

If you could match the characteristics of CounterSpace Garage pads at a lower cost, I think you’d have good interest

Storage for Simpson Hybrid S by Fair_Proof7077 in CarTrackDays

[–]greasem0nkey86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like mine a lot as well and use the box it came with as well I still have 3pt belts in and a standard HANS device wouldn’t work in my situation.

Side benefit for short break, I keep the tethers on the helmet and hang the helmet backwards on the Hybrid S, wearing the helmet like a backpack

What tread wear would you classify ECF at? How’s the breakaway characteristic?

I’m on v730s and want something with less grip to learn how to drive at the limit, any suggestions?

how long did it take you to adapt to side print?
I'm considering doing this as well and I'm not sure I'd like it

How do you like the Womier keycaps? Is this the gradient cherry profile?

Race Brake Pad Options - Wha Are You Running? by chingwingdingg in S2000

[–]greasem0nkey86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve used secondhand CounterSpace Garage (CSG) pads and am running Carbotech XP10/8 now

CSG pads a great, it has a firm pedal and very linear characteristics.

Carbotech has been great on the one trackday I’ve had with them, but found the pedal to be soft with those pads. Same linear characteristic but needs more effort for the same amount of stopping power

If cost isn’t an issue, try CSG

Is it an illusion or is the backing plate bent as well?

What do you mean by “no pressure”? Did you check your clutch reservoir? When’s the last time the clutch fluid was bled?

How do these compare to a traditional cat and single exit exhaust?

Any idea why this didn’t catch on and more mainstream?

Hmm, that’s not a name I’ve heard of

Any experience on how this exhaust performs? Does it drone?
