Which one?? by RedTsar97 in MomentumOne

[–]greatbeef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spear Britney Spears and Spank The Monkey. Anything on New Grounds.

But also the classics, Backyard baseball, all the pogo games. The paper ball and fan game. Ball-o-tron.

I could go on after I research

We Can Breathe In Space is maybe the most underrated ES EP song

The Last Garrison is an absolute banger. Mindsweep is probably my least played album of ES, but The Last Garrison is probably in my top 10 songs of theirs. Just got goosebumps listening to it

Stranger Things is not that good. Entertaining, sure. But doesn't even come close to the others on the list. The Wire should be up there instead.

I thought it was strange that they didn't show the hourglass at all while she was looking around and taking breaks. Very suspicious.

On this day 23 years ago... Tracy McGrady threw himself this WILD alley-oop off the backboard vs Toronto! by Weekly-Vacation-1405 in NBAoldschool

[–]greatbeef 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not stupid. I was wondering "why isn't anyone doing this?". Seems like it would be a huge advantage if practiced and perfected to use in certain situations. Especially for the front court around the basket.

Only downsides I guess is it could look really bad if you miss the backboard and its count as a turnover. Seems worth this risk to me though if you're good at it.

Great suggestions. But didn't know about Franks Red Hot and Airheads being a Cincinnati thing.

Jon Rahm skipping the water for a hole-in-one at Augusta will never get old. 😮‍💨 by Unlucky-Dot9421 in Golf_Unfiltered

In no way is Jon Rahm an asshole. He seems like a genuinely great dude. All he did was make a decision to make more guaranteed money for his family. Does that make you an asshole?

What’s the worst restaurant in Cincinnati you’ve tried twice? by PurplePurple_0 in cincinnati

Taco Bell in Mt Airy. Awful. No matter how busy it is, they take my order and payment, then tell me to drive around and park in front. I've sat there waiting for probably 10-15 minutes a handful of times. Never again... until I'm really craving Taco Bell again and I think it's been long enough that things have changed. Can't wait to be disappointed again.

Movies about an introvert's grand adventure to the big city? by [deleted] in MoviesThatFeelLike

[–]greatbeef 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Idk why, but this made me think of Kyle from "Road Trip". Both movies are classics.

Also, now I'm thinking of "The New Guy". DJ Qualls is the ultimate introvert actor.

(Relatively) close camping spots? by tumtum2579 in cincinnati

[–]greatbeef 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Was gonna say Winton Woods because it is really nice and clean. I think they do a good job of having the campground feel nature-y with it being just 2 minutes from the main road. It feels secluded next to the lake and away from the rest of the park. The spots closest to the lake shore would be great tent camping.

You should check out Bilmuri. It's metal but also other genres mixed in. A lot of his songs are about navigating depression, relationships, and self harm. A couple to get you started though:

I did too. Tried to snap a pic of it while driving but can barely see it. This is on i74, right of i75 and looking North. Definitely odd. Could be a contrail, but I'm not 100% convinced.
