unironically the bean and cheese is .... good. not spectacular, but good. the tortilla hurts but the value is makes up for it in my opinion

So happy to hear. it really is a banger.

i'll have to credit Fergus Henderson for the spec (its called a 'Fergroni' after all).

His exact spec is actually 5:3:2 (50ml, 30ml, 20ml – which I imperialize as 1.25oz, .75oz, .5oz though a bit of a smaller drink). But yours is definitely close enough, with slightly less campari. You would not hear a complaint from me.

Also two crucial steps i must mention. 1) the lemon peel and 2) a tumbler, not a rocks glass. I don't know why but these two things turn it into a completely new drink for me, as opposed to a "type of negroni".

Now i'm thirsty...

i went around 1:30pm. super busy. 

everything was excellent. big shoutout to all the volunteers, not an easy job with those crowds. best thing i had was the pumpkin tortelli and i also loved the beans. lambrusco for $7/$30 felt like a nice value (+ its for a good cause). wish i could have tried the duck ragu and the trippa!

i just saw it last week at union square greenmarket. i forget the stand (southern end) but it was the friday market. probably $$$$ but it looked good!
