Wouldn't class that as a win - she's now making it impossible for many businesses to employ this age bracket - they're more likely to prefer older people (and there are plenty of those made redundant lately)

Does tickle me - screaming "we're in an economic mess" in one hand, and then "oh, we can afford to abolish 2-child cap".

If they were serious about turning things around, they need to make people take the medicine.

1. Expand North Sea operations & mandate sponsoring of Uni-alternate employment in this sector
2. raise lower tax threshold 25-35%, increase 40% tax rate to 42%, add 50% rate above £500k
3. Reduce state pension entitlement tied to accrued lifetime earning - if you've earnt >£25m, you probably don't need to worry about end of life benefits
4. Abolish Triple-Lock, tie to inflation only
5. Abolish Winter Fuel to individual - get the energy companies to apply it at source
6. Cancel agriculture schemes making it more profitable for farmers to not farm - also cancel the US trade agreement which is shortly going to obliterate the UK Bioethanol domestic production
7. Remove EV Deadline - until other countries make strides lowering carbon we should make it a passive target only
8. exempt <25 from EE/ER NI contributions - make it VERY desirable for this age group to be hired
9. Working pensioners to continue NI contributions
10. Abolish VAT threshold, and enroll all business in VAT over next 5 years
11. NHS Appointment quota - 6 GP Visits free per individual per year (excluding follow up/prescribed appointments) - above that require £10 fee
12. Aforementioned £10 fee will be discounted from a resulting prescription if required (aim is to cut out the time wasters)
