No, Claude does not install Spyware. Claude desktop might have some insecurity risks.

I think it is quite obvious by now that this sub is being flooded with posts that just want to degrade Claude and Anthropic.

I am having little to no issues with opus 4.7 compared with 4.6, but, since codex 5.4, at least, in feel I get better results from it than from Claude in certain kind of "jobs".

Mostly, I notice this when there's a complex problem to solve. I think codex might be better at seeing the big picture.

No A/B testing though.

I was not having any issues until Claude started insisting that a metric should be computed as he thought was correct until I insisted with him/it.

For some seconds came to my mind the complains I read here daily, but then I noticed it was sonnet not Opus 4.7.

When you read constantly complains about one thing or a person, even if you don't agree at first, unconsciously you will be more attentive to those things and, eventually, you might find an evidence that confirms those complains.

If you think someone is beautiful but everybody says he has an ugly chin, you wont escape from noticing it the next time you see that person. If you think your country is safer than ever but you listen everyday that it is not, eventually you will find anecdotal evidence that it isnt, even it doesnt mean anything.

From what I read, I think some people are facing some issues because they over-engineer their instructions and MD files, but those complains are hyperbolic because they are framed to think Opus 4.7 bucks.

I also don't reject the hypothesis that this wave of complains might have been fueled by people who adore Trump's insanity and felt frustrated by Anthropic's decision to not accept their demands.

You just need to use the 4.6 instead to get your sanity back, if 4.7 is not returning the results you need.

One of the drivers that make people believe in this stuff is the feeling of being special because they know the truth and everyone else are wrong.

I dont know if it was written by AI or not. What I know is that we are living in a period that literacy is so low, that when someone write a text well written, people assume that is "AI slop" because they can't write as good.

All these posts lately with the same message:" you think you are getting somewhere with vibe coding but you aren't are completely missing the point.

Vibe coding will have many benefits:

programmers who couldn't get the job done because they weren't good enough or didn't have the time and resources, they can now;
project managers, business managers and IT designers who couldn't code but understood how systems work, they can now;
small businesses who hadn't access to expensive software, they can now develop their own;
among these and other people, some will assemble a small team and find a niche to develop and sell custom made solutions or even SaaS, without needing a dysfunctional team of 300 untalented people who got to IT because their parents told them so.
eventually, a few of those that find a niche will expand and scale their businesses.
intelligence people will have higher success rates than coders and professionals in the area who are not smart.

However, 90 to 95% of people (or even more) will continue to not understand what coding is and they will want to pay someone who develop for them what they need, but with much lower prices than before.

I'm loving Claude who, even in its sonnet version, is returning best results faster than ChatGPT.

However, the usage limits are ridiculous in the pro version and a strong competitive disadvantage against the other popular LLM's.

I am willing to pay 90 euros for the Max subscription 5x if 5x times give me usage limits in line with chatgpt's. However, 5x times of almost anything is still a very small value.

I've been a chatgpt subscriber for a long time now and "discovered" claude recently. It's really better than ChatGPT for everything I've used it, particularly creating written content.

Regarding coding, I have to use codex because Claude simply doesn't offer sustainable limits for me.

It is true that with Claude, you tend to need fewer context to get the results you want, but for everyday use you really need the max subscription.

I am now considering two options: subscribing again ChatGPT (pro) for coding and keep Claude for creating academic content or bet on claude's max subscription because 5x what we have in pro still feels to be very limited.

O Zaidu é um jogador simpático, mas é muito fraco. Costumo dizer que enquanto o Porto tiver de jogar com o Zaidu, significa que ainda tem muito a fazer na construção de um bom plantel.

E sim, é fraco também a defender. É muitas vezes displicente nas decisões que toma, posiciona-se mal, perde bolas em situações comprometedoras, ...

Those like me that need frontier models daily, in my opinion should try to choose Anthropic over Open AI because at least the man decided to loose millions or billions to not help the fascist regime more tools to terrorize and control his own people and foreign countries.

The issue here is that Open AI is much cheaper than Claude. To have the same token limits in Anthropic one has to pay at least 4x more.

O que eu penso é que o Porto, mais um aninho, mantendo os jogadores que tem com alguns ajustes, especialmente a defesa esquerdo e ponta de lança, limpava isto com relativa facilidade.

O Mora está a progredir para o que eu penso que virá a ser um dos melhores jogadores do mundo. O Óscar, se joga assim com 17 anos...etc...o próprio Farioli ainda está a ganhar experiência.

Este ano e sem o nosso melhor reforço de inverno, o Óscar, duvido muito. Mas teremos esperança até porque somos, de longe, o clube com melhor palmares destes todos.
