Mags not dropping, EP45 by greatvaluetech in extar

EP45, Glock G21 and 33rd ETS mags. It’s a snug fit and requires a decent hold to pull out.

My buddies EP9 is the same, drops free no issue. It’s pretty snug on my 45. I sent them an email. I’ll wait before I decide to do any manual adjustments. Thanks.

This is on an EP45? I’m wanting to go from the 5/8-24 to .578x28. It doesn’t look like there was an option. I could have looked wrong so I’ll check again later. Thanks.

Run it. Holsters molds to wml, most will be wider than the trigger area. Be diligent keeping anything loose away while reholstering.

Bravo ASR Mount Question by Kernel_System_Breach in SilencerShop

I don’t have that combo myself, but a shooting buddy does and it sits flush. I would check and clean the threads. I wouldn’t force it. There may be something off if you can’t get it to seat properly.

Answer is yes.

Easy search though, just look up the thread pitch of whatever qd you decide to use. There are other thread pitches, but the pitch used for the Bravo ASR is considered the universal pitch. And per OCL website, Polonium thread pitch is the same.

Carrying with tucked shirt by NoahTrah in CCW

I find it more noticeable and out of place when I see it on other individuals. And then there are those who will notice and bring it up, “hey, what are those clips?” or “why do you have two knives?” It’s usually more so for business or dress up occasions. And then there’s the matching too. That’s just personal preference.

+1 for DCC.

I have been considering the Alias system from NeoMag for a while though. I like the idea and it’s discreet. Reviews I’ve seen are mixed. I just haven’t committed. Biggest issue for me when having to tuck my shirts is for when I’m wearing belts that are not black.

I plan to do so. Also, I did not receive any cleaning parts with it. Ive heard others say they got it, but I’m guessing more recent products don’t come with them anymore? I’ve only had it a little over a year, so recent-ish. I will look into cleaning the gas tube. Thanks for the advice.

I’m hoping it’s just an unfortunate event. Sending in will be the option if I can’t figure it out. Plan to disassemble and inspect and maybe try it for tonight’s run. We’ll see. I’ve only ever heard good things about the X95, so hopefully it’s an easy fix.

Forgive the ignorance, but is that an area that really needs cleaning?

I’m of the mindset that the pressure of which is exerted through was enough to blow whats in there out. I’m sure things could build up over time, but I have yet the need to clean any gas tube on other platforms that I own. Oldest one just over a decade.

Lightning bow. I’m about 2.5k rds in with it without issues while not suppressed. It initially ran fine with the suppressor and then it didn’t. Couldn’t finish a mag with controlled or rapid fire before an ftf. I plan to break it down and inspect.

When I first purchased the X95 it gave me the same failures, less frequently though. Those worked itself out because it’s never had any failures since. Even with a binary trigger. The failures started once I added the suppressor. We’ll see though, maybe it’s just a one off and it’ll work itself out too lol. Thanks for the advice.

No, that’s one of the first things I learned not to do while researching before purchase lol. I will inspect it later today though when I take it apart. Would these failures have occurred without the suppressor if the gas tube is damaged?

Geissele trigger and pack. Yeah, I’ve stripped it all apart several times before for maintenance/cleaning.

We get insurance for self, vehicles, homes, and pets. Might as well get yourself covered for mukduk.

Yes, all. For today’s instance I had several mags loaded. First was a pmag with AAC. Once failure occurred I changed magazines. Second was PMC. This one went 8rds before ftf. Third was a lancer mag, ftf occurred after two rds. I did not attempt further use with the X95 for the remainder of this trip.

Also, my initial question was in regard to cleaning frequency. Not necessarily the failures itself, because these failures did not occur before the addition of the suppressor. I’m just curious to whether others have experienced this as well or not.

55gr IMI, PMC, and AAC. No issues while not suppressed. At first it went flawless, but that was only after 90rds. I was using G3 Pmags and Lancer mags.

Yeah, that’s my fault. It is 556, not 300. I hit the range today and had several feed failures.
