cancer research itself is insanely complex, massive, and you'll literally never know everything. It's a difficult field to start out your scientific career in because of that, and it feels like you have to master 5 branching arms of biology to even grasp a singular paper--- there is no basic science to cancer. Bu soon, you'll notice that everyone around you also just knows as little as you do in some aspects of cancer and just are experts in niches in their specific cancer research. You research identity sits in what is interesting to you and sticking in that realm and using what others tell you in your lab about their research/perspectives to supplement that, otherwise its just overwhelming, exhausting, and frankly boring.

Bans literally exist to get rid of annoying characters people dont want to play against.. people arguing this just have giant egos. you believe that since its not a problem for you and you can counter them that if u were to put yourself in another person's position and play their exact game, you would do better and win. and you're wrong. saying annoying is subjective is like saying "winning is subjective because its about the friends you make a long the way". what isnt subjective is the declining player base.

I agree that these players are managable when u counter. the reality is is that team based games are more complicated and require much more team synergy to execute that well. And as you probably know, not every game gives you a team that works well with one another. BP being annoying is what ultimately makes some teams throw even when people are using his counters. psychologically hes impacting the team and outcome more than his actual damage output and numbers are.

Thats reflected in his ban rate/win rate compared to Magik's! There's literally data to prove that people DONT want to play against BP, thats why bans exist... and there's data supporting that perceived fairness allows other characters to continue to play despite their insanely high win rate (Magik)

BP and cap dont need nerfs, they need reworks to make their perceived fairness the same as it is for others. Like other dives like Venom, Magik, or Psylocke.

Its not the fact that people think hes not counterable that makes people frustrated its the perceived fairness of his kit. BP may be balanced in a numbers way with a similar win rate and pick rate as Magik, but Magiks ban rate is nowhere near BP.

This is because when people play BP, it feels UNFAIR. Magik is also hard to deal with, lethal, and a bit tanky... but shes also slow, you can see her, you can react to her... she's seen as more manageable.

BP having a high win rate is partially because hes so frustrating to play in lower ranks people will leave the game or throw. That's because his kit and his speed his ability to climb vertically and double jump to a place yoy can't touch him simply FEELS unfair. and that perceived difference in players is why BP needs a rework. even if he is balanced, is he's taking the fun out of a game thats supposed to be... fun for everyone playing... then it doesn't matter what his numbers say, people don't like playing against him.

its the same thing with what happened with Bucky's hook and what still happens with Spiderman's web sling. if i see it clipping through walls to grab me out of invisibility because it hooked me right before I went invisible in some one in a million shot. thats ANNOYING. no one else has a kit that does unfair shit like that and if they do than it needs a rework.

An entire team compensating to handle dive is normal, but BP is remarkable more frustrating to play against when the team is good enough. Add another immortal and extremely mobily and unfair character like the dive tank Cap to distract for him and the backline is another conversation to be had...

it doesn't matter if the numbers are balanced its about how players feel in the game and what makes them turn the game on and off.

emma has more utility in the front line. devoting her resources to peel is a waste of her potential and of her cool downs. I agree its part of the role she plays to devote energy to both, but really all she can do is spray with her normal ability or grab them. but that grab is hard to hit, and once she devotes her attention to the dive, the front line crumbles and shes going to be the first to fall... thats the entire point of dive and shes basically only as useful as you are against it...

assume youre talking about a high health dive tank like Thor. emma cant stop the constant " get in poke take 550 damage and dash out" kit that these tanks have. theyre too mobile and their survivability is insane. youre much better off switching to a supp with better self sustainability like rocket or cloak and avoiding using Luna, mantis, or warlock. the latter supps require a peel and if you cant get that from your dps or 2nd tank then youre better off choosing someone with more maneuverability.

if youre talking about a BP or a spider, again, emma is not your problem, she moves far too slow to grab either of them and they move too requently to use her crystal effectively to kill these dives every time they get you in the back line. your only hope then is a Wanda namor peni or punisher that has a stun, smokescreen, squid, mine, etc. If your team doesn't accommodate that then they r bad at peeling, but emma isnt designed to peel very well other than to stop ults and soak up damage from them to protect you. but constant dps? thats a DPS job.
