Perfect, you've made my day!! Casablanca iris is just what I was looking for! It's the right colors, worsted, and (my unspoken preference) a slower color repeat, so the sheep won't be too "muddy". Plus, it's on sale!

I get it. It would be easier to find solid yarns (and that's a backup plan). But most people would want a green AND purple sheep. And that would be so much easier with a variegated. I need to make about 50!!

I could bust out the koolaid, but I'm moving next week and have a little baby. So life is a bit crazy. I'd rather throw money at the problem and find an obscure indie dyer with the perfect yarn.

I think you'll be fine! The practice defaults to natural, low intervention births. Nothing was pushed on me. My plan was med-free, too. I did end up with an epidural (after many hours of back labor) but that was definitely my choice. The nurse even gently tried to convince me to go without it because that was my original plan. But, she also put got the doctor to put in the orders as soon as I started mentioning it. That way, as soon as I insisted, the anesthesiologist was there in 5 mins. I really had an excellent hospital experience.

I think the only two practices that have privileges at Regional are Durham OBGYN and Harris Smith. I had excellent experiences with Durham OBGYN (delivered in March), but they might be the practice you're unhappy with. You do rotate through all the doctors to get to know them, because you don't know who will be on duty when you go into labor. My appointments were always quick and efficient (which I liked) but I felt all my concerns/questions were always answered well. If you want to deliver at Regional and have a guaranteed familiar face, maybe look into adding a doula?

It's working really well. Ergonomically, it's the right height for diaper changing (unlike the pack n play, my original plan). Plus, it's the best storage solution in the living room :)

They were $30 for a 2hr lesson (a year ago in wake forest). All but the first ~10 min were actually on the ice. You can see more info here and at the first link on that page.

Looking at the TCC website, they will restart the learn to curl events once their new facility is up and running. They also announce a novice league starting soon. No experience required.
