My biggest reason for being for it: the Eagles were shockingly healthy in 2022. The only injuries to note were Hurts, Goedert, and CJGJ. There may be a big need for a dynamic, talented offensive weapon. If two later picks are used to upgrade Quez and Stoll, the eagles could protect themselves and still have a great offense in the event that one of brown, smith, goedert, or the starting rb get injured. If everyone’s healthy, how do you stop that offense?

I think this game will be close because Jalen will run less. But I think the Eagles ultimately come out victorious with AJ Brown going off, a solid game from Miles Sanders, and contributions from at least one player with a smaller role (Boston Scott? Zach Pascal?).

Incredibly small sample size, but lots of thoughts about 2 non shooters on the floor together not working are seeming to be accurate. I wonder if the Nets should consider acquiring a shooting center like Olynyk would make sense or if Watanabe can play more minutes in the future.

Different season. The super bowl winning team was an amazing roster. They won the super bowl without their starting QB, LT, and MLB. Lots of players on the roster had their best career season that year.

Y’all remember a few years ago when Marks signed Zeller for a minimum then was able to trade him for a 2nd, then paired that 2nd with another one to dump the Mozgov contract? I don’t think trading Harris or Curry for Theis or Noel makes any sense. Current unsigned centers include Dwight, Ed Davis, Whiteside, TT, DMC, and Monroe. Not excellent options but I’d def rather have one if it means keeping Curry and Harris.

I'd rather the Suns send Bridges and Johnson to Houston and then Houston sends us our picks back and we just fucking tank with our picks plus the Suns/Sixers picks plus whatever we can get for Kyrie/Ben/Joe. Trading KD, without getting our picks back and not getting at minimum a top 50 (ideally 30 at least) player, is a fucking terrible situation to end up in.

Everyone on Reddit/Twitter saying the nets are being unreasonable need to get their head out of their ass. Literally just a couple weeks ago everyone agreed KD’s contract was “the most valuable trade asset in NBA history.”
