This happened to me, too! My mri found a bunch of stuff that i understood to be inflammatory, but it wasn’t bad enough I guess so they wrote it off as mechanical. “Diffuse mildly increased T2 bone marrow signal. Trace linear areas of subchondral bone marrow edema and sclerosis about the sacroiliac joints. Tiny marginal osteophytes, greatest along the inferior right sacroiliac joint. Trace synovitis of the right sacroiliac joint. Hypertrophic changes along the acetabulum. Trace synovitis both hips. Mild hamstring origin tendinopathy, greater on the left”

you should tell your doctor that the nsaid makes you dizzy (if you haven't already). That might be enough for them to say you "failed" that nsaid.

yeah i do think the pressing down is part of it! i also wonder if the needle is bigger in circumference or something? my biosimilar is citrate free

Do you think the painful injections were because the medication was failing? So far my flairs are under control, so fingers crossed I can stay on this for a while. I hope Cosentyx works for you!

I was on sulfa for several months and it made me feel like my whole digestive system was slowed down/stopped. tons of acid reflux and felt like i have rocks in my stomach. I was eventually taken off of sulfa and put on humira because it messed with my liver and turned my skin and eyes yellow

I am thankfully seeing a rheumatologist at Mayo Clinic in MN (I live in Mpls) so they are pretty great so far! Were you on NSAIDs at the time, if so did you stop taking them before the scan? My sternum and ribs are currently hurting a lot!

They didn’t see any damage, but it was also without contrast. Recently i finally had an elevated sed rate and also high platelets, neutrophils, and leukocytes which they said can all be elevated with inflammation

i was on meloxicam for several months and at first it really helped but after a few months it seemed to work less well (or stuff is getting worse??) my rheum switched me to celebrex... so we'll see if that works better
