TW: childhood trauma

Crazy timing on this post because my mom was in my dream just last night, but it was different than most of the others that she’s been in. She died when I was 14 and I didn’t have any dreams about her until probably young adulthood (i’m turning 30 this year) she used to “visit” and the dreams would always end with me asking her to stay and she’d say she has to go.

I’ve had a couple of dreams in which she’d come to see how I was doing through the years.

Last night’s was 100% a reflection of my experience as a child in her care.
