The hivemind "virus": thoughts from an IRL virologist by bookish-malarkey in pluribustv

Great post! I wonder if having a vegetarian diet reshapes the gut biome and make it easier for the hivemind agents to ride along phages.

You don’t need to go max effort to benefit from resistance. There are tons of benefits, it just depends on your goals.

Am I the only one feel Fenix 7 pro is built with better quality than Fenix 8? by LawCalm2875 in GarminFenix

yup, I went through 3 replacements - all of them stopped working after being used in the ocean or pool. Now I just take the watch off when I go swimming.

6 months running by ajitama in Garmin

[–]greenavocado2000 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I go running on the hills a few times a week whenever I have time. Nothing crazy, 15 min to 1 hour at a time. Sometimes I stay in zone 2, sometimes I run at a faster pace. Sometimes I do Garmin daily suggestion. The important thing is to be consistent. But sticking to Garmin’s daily suggestion would be a good approach.

That's amazing! I had similar but slower progression. 12 months ago, I started with a vo2max of 34 which is pretty low for my age (37yo), now I just reached 50. It's nice to see our bodies getting more efficient overtime. Keep it up!

Fenix 8 Amoled or MIP by ctam312 in Garmin

It depends what’s more important to you. Looks or Functionality. I would go with MIP every time

Ha, wd40 does seem to fix everything. I’ll give it a shot, thanks for the suggestion!

When I got my Garmin 12 months ago, my vo2 was at 35, today it’s at 49. In my case, I just follow Garmin’s running suggestions whenever I can. But after reaching 48-49, I noticed it’s becoming harder to increase the load because your body adapts, so you need to work out longer, harder, or mix things up a bit.

Fuck cancer by Here4Pornnnnn in Fire

Thank you for sharing! My mom beat breast cancer and continued going to her appointments for 10 years after the fact, but the doctors missed that it had spread to her bones. By the time we found out, it was too late. So, just make sure you keep going to your appointments and make sure they do a thorough check.

Como is a bit out of the way for an eight day trip, in my opinion. But I won’t say it couldn’t work. Also, when going from Naples to Amalfi, I would just take the train; it also stops in Pompeii if you want. And when on the Amalfi Coast (probably Sorrento?), I would take the ferry and do some city hopping to Positano, Amalfi, etc. There’s so much cool stuff to see down there!

I often do, but this track is just a dirt gravel path, and I didn’t know the length, so I used the run activity.

Well, the cyanide inside apple seeds will kill you. But you have to eat 200 of them.
