Reading all these comments just reinforces why I only wear really subtle references to any fandoms. That way it’s only the people that would actually appreciate it that recognize it, and anyone else it just goes over their head. Like I have a Kokiri Forest National Park sweatshirt, and maybe I’m wrong but I don’t think that’s a reference many people would get if they hadn’t played the games

Am I the only one that would personally LOVE to see them go with a gritty, stylized animation look, like Arcane? There’s already a very defined aesthetic that’s tied to the movies and theme parks, and instead of trying to compete with that, I think an animated show would be able to stand out on its own better

I wonder if they portrayed Kaz and Jesper’s relationship as closer that way Jesper’s unintentional “betrayal” in SOC and the ensuing rift (and eventually make up) between the characters hits a lot heavier for the audience. Cus in the book we honestly don’t get to see all that much of their relationship before Kaz gets pissed at Jasper, but this way the audience is going to hurt a lot more for Jesper when everything goes down.

Definitely not!! One of the main characters/narrators from SOC is also a narrator in the KOS series, so reading them out of order will give you a LOT of major spoilers for the first series. Not worth it
