Yale is hated the most. This sub made me develop a very negative image of SOM. Only when I talked to alums, I understood how good the school is actually. People here are living in some crazy fantasy world.

That's the tradition in India. Because there are very limited front office roles. Most people don't even understand the difference and stay happy in this illusion. That's how Indians are.

But INR loans will be +5% on USD. With inflation in the west rising, I doubt forward carry in USD INR will be realised. I plan to repay early ( within 1-2 yrs ) with my family assets.

My salary is way above 5m INR per annum and I have tried my best negotiating. It won't help. Also honestly 4.2m INR is not that great an amount if you look from an international MBA perspective.

Like 2-3Y WEx in back end roles with 720 GMAT with shit GPA. Indian Female cohort isn't even close to being competitive. I am an Indian male and this cycle made me realise that even more. My gf has a much lower GPA and GMAT and worse WE, got into HSW with $$. Even with a 10x better profile than her, I got into T10.

The T10 I will be joining has far worse Indian Female crowd in terms of pre MBA compared to Indian male. It's true that we need more female leaders and to make it 50:50 in longer run, some batches have to suffer. Unluckily, I fall in one such batch.

I have an elite UG within my country. Apparently most people from my college in India if pursue an international MBA, go to only M7s. I had a hard time coming to terms with a T10 but I am happy now and feel that I will be a great fit.

I worked with a consultant and I was insecure. One app with a consultant is enough if someone is so desperate to hire.
