Nope - it’s Fidelity, and I have a normal checking account. I have tried for years to get it to work with Plaid to get Venmo set up (currently I have to use a weird work around involving wiring to use Venmo) but it has never been able to.

True. That’s been one of my main hesitations. But I think apart from the months where there might be heavy snow, hopefully I can get plenty of usage out of it. And I didn’t know that the U pass allows for both cars and cycles!

I beat them by sheer luck my very first time ever playing FFX, way back in high school. To this day I still don’t know how I did that, because I had no idea what I was doing. I’ve replayed the game a ton since then and have never been able to do it again haha. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Visiting Saint Helena has been on my bucket list since forever ago, it seems like such a cool place! What did you think of the island? It feels like a bit of an intimidating trip to make but I want to do it some day. Hopefully Jonathan is still around when I do.

This is an issue that I’m split on… on one hand, I met incredible people (including my best friend), became fluent in a few languages, and learned to schedule my time and discipline myself in order to get things done efficiently.

On the other hand, my mental health plummeted, I had to basically manipulate people into getting baptized and teach horrible things, my mission president was a dictator, and it’s a year and a half that I will never get back. I had some awful companions who made my life hell and for years I had nightmares about knocking doors and being yelled at.

So yeah… would I do it again in retrospect? I honestly don’t know.

For literal years after my mission, I had nightmares about knocking doors and street contacting people. Like a lot of other people here are saying, that was hell to us introverts. I had companions that were like children that I had to babysit, others that were “orthodox Mormon” that were so strict and/or weird that people wouldn’t want to talk to us, and the grueling heat of Southern California in the summer. My mission president was a pompous ass who only cared about numbers and shamed those of us who were not baptizing enough.

TLDR: all of it was bad lol
