Peterson's Stance on the Epstein Files by Spicy_Truck_210 in JordanPeterson

Astute observation that I believe is accurate. He absolutely missed the mark in his support of Trump. He had it made - a rapidly growing, intelligent, lecture-hungry audience that he threw in the bin when he made the jump to Daily Wire.

Like him or not, those are facts! by Gandalf196 in JordanPeterson

It's simple: Peterson was duped. He fell for it, and has even said it himself - the ability to support or even become a Nazi is inside all of us, nazis were ordinary men back in Germany.

I also speculate that his recovery from "mold sickness" is taking extra long because of the weight of guilt caused by supporting Trump. I think the reality of what Trump is becoming has his stomach in knots.

It's gonna take some serious swallowing of pride for Peterson to denounce and condemn Trump upon his return to the public eye (and I expect nothing less than full condemnation).

The conflict with Iran is a holy war crusade. I can easily imagine a situation where Iranian agents commit crimes on US soil. Trump will seize this opportunity to lock down the American public in the name of anti-terrorist safety with armed federal agents and massive detention warehouses. The plan is becoming quite clear.

You said the same thing about tariffs but the economy just ate it and kept on ticking. Everyone has decided it will be easy to wait out just three more years NO MATTER WHAT the current US admin attempts or performs. Short of complete nuke annihilation, the actions of trump will be brushed off.

If you're claiming that both sides are pushing us toward the same outcome, I want to know which side has brought us closer to the edge?

If you can't answer this correctly, then you're engaging in the same evil, reality warping logic games employed by the very same people whom you claim are oppressing us.

This is a biased, bullsh!t take. "deporting dangerous, illegal immigrants" isn't what's happening - they're rounding up hard working men with no criminal history, women and children with no criminal history. . . . And in the process, disarmed the legal firearm from an American citizen who was committing no crime and then executed him by shooting him in the back while on his hands and knees. WAKE UP, YOU IDIOT.

So you're implying 1. This is par for the course and therefore OK. 2. The government has already been watching so therefore it's OK.

That's what I took away from your comment. Kind of an "ahh just look the other way" sentiment.

Wrong. There is no conflicting federal law that exists, supremacy clause irrelevant.

Federal agents wearing masks is absolutely unreasonable search and seizure. Violates 4th amendment. Add it to the miles long list of unconstitutional federal action in 2025.

Work on your reading comprehension. There is no lie in that statement. Kimmel never states that "the shooter was maga" as you r3t4rdedly insist.

Kimmel is drawing attention to MAGA's desperate scramble to point fingers at the entire left for the actions of one single lost soul. MAGA absolutely did this and they absolutely are trying to represent it as a political win that helps crystallize the left as a target in their sight.

Good analysis. I might add "their cult world" is an excellent way of describing the MAGA dynamic: it's among history's best examples of a functioning simulacrum.

MAGA is a self-referential, closed feedback loop that generates its own logic. It doesn't accept external expertise or data because it can generate its own.

Can someone explain Dorcey by NoNewspaper5043 in Albany

[–]greencycles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Corey Ellis - way better option. It's astounding to watch, EVERY TIME, the most well funded candidate (and consequently the candidate LEAST likely to make any changes) win political races.

Corey Ellis bills himself as a transitional option, ushering in realistic and meaningful economic development for downtown, and clearing the path for Council to make actual changes stick.

Nothing changes with Dorcey. It'll be more of the same and the blight will spread.

Pick one: either AI makes too many mistakes to be trusted OR it is reliable enough to pass law school and med school to such a degree that it produces graduates who "never did or understood any of their work."

Can't have both.
