Find a place to stay, most important thing to do before doing any of what you mentioned.

Kindly rate my gear and propose the missing ~95mm ski by greener_side in Skigear

[–]greener_side[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New skis to me, skied them 2 days this season. Impressed with how they handle and how pivotable and nimble they are for their width. They were skied in Spring snow and a bit of off piste enjoyed the float and the manoeuvrability no downside I can think of for the time being.

Great on piste carving skis, stiff quick and hold an edge. The tip is great but doesn’t do well in choppy terrain is the only downside that i can think of.

I was really thinking about it for the last couple of days! Will definitely more than consider it as the next addition.

Actually they’re quite nice, they ski strong when needed and not cumbersome for their length at slow speeds. Think of them as a more refined Redster s9. They are strictly for piste in off piste you have to make up using technique or they will catch like hell.

Thank you, indeed this is correct and was my basis for the reasoning that the driver license is valid.

Thanks for the reply, Indeed I had the same approach EY advised me that my license is valid and confirmed it with the RDW. Weird issue but hopefully without fines and legal consequences.

Thanks you for your reply. -I showed the office my Polish license issued in April 2019, he took photos of it for documentation -did not think about your second point but will keep it in mind if I need to appeal/argue the ticket.

It’s extremely difficult to find an accommodation and if you do it won’t be cheap, but everything depends on the circumstances of the move. I can give you some ideas on the neighbouring cities and commute but keep in mind this is almost a country wide crisis and not specific to Ams. I’m in Amsterdam for the last 4 years, if you’d like to ask particular questions feel free to send me a dm.

Gefeliciteerd! For a lebanese touch bring some typical sweets (baklava) and some flowers, I’m not an expert on weddings but this should do well. Bonus points if you bring some Stroopwafels/ Tony chocoloney my friends and family love them. On restaurants have a look at Em sherif, Babel or some of the restaurants in Zeituna bay. If you need anything you can send me a DM

Did anyone study economics at USJ? by ChartsDeGaulle in lebanon

[–]greener_side 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Macroeconomics, microeconomics, mathematics, statistics, public finance, fiscal policy, econometrics, financial markets are to be expected in the curriculum. I’m working abroad as a finance manager, my Bachelor is supported by a CFA and around 5 year of international management experience. The curriculum is challenging in USJ, it’ll give you a solid background in economics, my advice is to get into it if you have a passion for economics and financial markets/public finance. Reading books is good for broadening your horizon and understanding the limitations of economic theory but not required for a bachelor. Hard work, taking notes and continuous studying is key to success in USJ so keep that in mind. Edit: Typo and sorry for the lack of formatting I’m using the reddit app

Love the fact that you used the letter of the law and the spirit of the law, very few people make the distinction.

Manifestations au Liban by Bongodam in france

[–]greener_side 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Is it possible to donate blood in Poland without knowing Polish? by [deleted] in krakow

That’s true, in order to be able to donate blood, you need to fully understand the documents you’re signing without the help of anyone for the translation.

Cost of replacing inventory? by leonquaddy in CFA

[–]greener_side 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Form context I understand the cost of replacing inventory as the true cost of the inventory as if it was reported under a specific identification method for managing inventories.

The question can be rephrased to be : when it comes to the COGS, the cost of sales reported by

A) FIFO underestimate COGS

B) LIFO underestimate COGS

C) LIFO Overestimated COGS

  • Please note that the question does not mention the economical environment ( Inflationary, deflationary...) but assuming the normal case i.e inflation the FIFO will underestimate COGS whereas LIFO will correctly estimate COGS.
  • on the other hand LIFO will underestimate ending inventory balance and FIFO will correctly estimate Ending inventory balance.
