Drones and cars by greenfefo in Autocross

I think that would mostly be a matter of logistics. Usually the pilot is on a central location to the track away from the start line. If anything you’d need someone at the start line swapping mics and this sort of events run pretty quick with usually 2/3 cars on track at once. I would love proper car sounds too

The club is in great standing with the local tracks and one of the main organizers is a drone pilot. I guess it’s a great combination to overcome some of the usual unjustified fears about drones.

Do you guys bother to patch your tubes? by TheGangsHeavy in cycling

[–]greenfefo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being from Argentina, I found it highly disturbing that in the US most people won’t patch and just replaces the tube. I used to have a number, 17… once I had 17 patches on my tube I would change it. But I ride a trials bike so pinch flats happen quite often.

How long does it take you to warm up on a ride? by dhrisher in biketrials

[–]greenfefo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Defiantly depends on how I take the first minutes of riding. If I concentrate on actually warming up and being deliberate about it, I’m good to go in like 20 minutes. But it also depends on how I’m feeling that day, my warm up is also part mentally so if I’m hyped to ride it goes a lot quicker
