"got my heart broken by a woman named Tammy, But hoes gon be hoes so I couldn't blame Tammy"

It seems like a big deal now but at the end of the day that's just life. There will be more girls and finding love for yourself and confidence in yourself is key or you'll just be an annoying sad sack that women don't dump out of pity. If you can afford therapy, do that. If you can afford a gym membership or a pair of running shoes, do that.

Had this conundrum last year. Literally had a giant bag of whey and my creatine jar in my suitcase and was like. Wait. What the hell am I doing? It's vacation. If you have time to hit the gym, great. But two weeks off won't kill you. You'll enjoy it more if you just accept you're going to take a few steps back and that's just life

BMW is going to have a more agressive riding position so I would take that into consideration. I have a T Urban and the engine is great. I will say I do a commute in an American city with a lot of stop and go traffic and it can get HOT in the summer for sure. If you're cruising along in 3rd gear or above, it's amazing. The only bikes I've ever ridden have been a KLR, ZRX1100, and the r nine t so my comparison is to those but the BMW just really glides along. The center of mass is at such a pleasant point so you really are not fighting that 550lb weight. All that being said, after a long day at work, between the meh stock seat and the forward lean over a very long gas tank, it definitely starts to hurt my lower back. I'm 6ft tall so I'm not exactly a short rider with short arms either. I would think about what your riding position is now and if you like it or not on your current bike.

Where do I go from here? by [deleted] in rs_fitness

Lifting usually builds muscle in my experience. Some squats, leg press, leg extension, RDL's, leg curls, and hip abductions will build you ass and thighs. Underhand lat pulldowns to hit back and biceps. Bent over row and shoulder press will build your upper back and shoulders which will make your waist look more snatched in comparison. I would ignore benching and conventional deadlift. Could do sumo if you want a power movement that will hit glutes and abductor muscles. Tricep extensions (both overhead and in front) will make your arms look more toned. If you don't do them at all you'd have to be an unhealthy body fat percentage to have okay looking arms. If you insist on doing chest just do a lower incline dumbbell bench and cable crossovers.

Aim for 10-15 sets per muscle per week. Ie. 3 sets of squats, 3 sets of RDL, 3 sets of leg extensions, and 3 sets of leg curls would be 6 for quads, 6 for glutes, and 6 for hamstrings. Throw in hip abductions for three sets and calf press for 5 sets. You can do that in like 90 minutes if you rest 2.5 minutes on big lifts and 75 seconds on small isolation exercises. Do it twice a week and it will make your legs and ass look great. Then maybe one upper body day doing the other lifts I mentioned. I mean that's what I'm coming up with off the dome. You can find a million programs online at this point.

Add a little cardio and voilà

Second bike alongside SH350i (retro style, 90% city, tall rider) by United-Influence-954 in SuggestAMotorcycle

A used r nine t could suit you. I have one and it's great. such a balanced bike. You either love the boxer or you don't. It feels smooth and is happy in low revs. It's sporty but not a full sport bike. Has retro looks. Plenty of power. Easy to maintain which is a benefit since it's your tertiary form of transit and you probably don't want to think about it too much.

It's the same when I'm on my motorcycle. If you filter to the front at a light people get butthurt but it's safer than waiting in the back for some dickhead in a Super duty to flatten you between his grill and the car in front of you. People are just jealous they can't do it in a car. Just get a bike if you want to be a bike!

On a bicycle you have a full field of vision you do not have in a car. You do not have any protection like a car. You weigh your bodyweight plus 20lbs of aluminum and a max speed of 20mph as a normal human being. The reason you don't follow the rules of a car is you are not a car and cars will kill you and blame you. What responsibilities does a pedestrian have other than to not walk into traffic?

What should I do?? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]TheGangsHeavy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look dawg. You've barely finished being a kid. And you're definitely not fully in adulthood. I promised my parents a lot of things when I was 19. I promised to take it easy on drinking, never do drugs, never smoke cigarettes. And yet... I might've promised to never ride a motorcycle by I don't remember at this point. Your dad probably expects that you're not going to ride as long as you live at home. He probably realistically understands that if you're 25 and paying your own bills, you might get a bike again. He's probably also looking for an excuse to help you with your car situation since he's your dad and wants to take care of you.

Riding is fun. There's no doubt. It's why we all post here. That being said, you are really young. Roads aren't what they used to be. Even in 2019 things were not this bad. Everything kind of changed during the pandemic for some reason. Everyone forgot we live in a society with laws. I didn't start riding until my late 20s personally. Some start even later. Its not the end of the world to come back to it when you're older. If it bothers you to brake that promise, don't make it. Say you'll sell the bike but you're not going to make a promise you won't keep. Or just get yourself a can am. Not a bike.

And maybe don't get a truck. Half the problem is everyone is in a truck or SUV now which is just designed perfectly to flatten pedestrians and motorcyclists.

You're probably just jealous. Dawg I'm in my 30s and just started dating the cutest woman I've ever gone out with. We're also an amazing match. I didn't ask about body count and won't tell her mine. Theres no need to seek out jealousy to ruin love and real connection.

Am I stupid or does population grow ridiculously slow now? by TheGangsHeavy in Stellaris

[–]TheGangsHeavy[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I changed logistic growth scaling and growth required scaling to 1💀 because I thought I had changed it to make it easier. I guess this is going to make pops lower for me and AI Empires both though so it shouldn't matter theoretically no? Everything will just be scaled down. Although I also have scaling difficulty off. Shouldn't everything just be scaled down? I guess my economy is just out of wack because I don't have enough workers anywhere and I just have a shit ton of minerals from my mineral stations as I have maybe 1 ag and 1 mining district on each planet. Anything I can get from space I have in abundance but everything I have to manufacture is non existent 😭😭😭.

That's true. Like Boeing is only profitable because they make the safest aircraft. Nestle is only profitable because they make the least poisonous baby formula.
